Spanx saved my life!

As some of you know, last week I was struggling with losing these 7 seven pounds and trying to find something to help my back fat when I put my gown on. Well, I ordered a strapless spanx and tried it on with my gown last night. Like magic, the back fat was GONE!! It looked so much better!!

Spanx saved me from all of the worry that I had and I can even wear it under strapless sundresses!! Pretty glad that the purchase wasn't just for the wedding this time.

Did anyone else have any problems with back fat?? Did you try Spanx or something else?

And the whole time, my future husband was in the room...... image image

I hardly ever wear dresses or anything that would show backfat so I don't know. Do you have a link for which spanx you bought? I've been looking for a good overall one to wear for when I'm dress shopping. I want to remain somewhat covered up and have everything tucked into place, KWIM?
  • Am I a horrible person because the words back fat make me laugh?

Also, I love Spanx. They just make everything overall look smoother.

    It makes me laugh too.

Also, courtney- a little back fat never killed anyone. (your title made me laugh)
    ;)
  • Back fat just makes a person more snuggly, and you can never go wrong with snuggly.

  • Ah well I'm glad you got that figured out Court :)

I don't really have back fat but I'm just worried my chest will look enormous - since, it is, in fact, enormous.  And the fact that my dress still isn't in isn't curbing that anxiety at all.  *a couple more days, a couple more days... I hope*

  • I have a pair off knock-off spanx that I use when I wear my "jeggings."

Yes, I own jeggings, and I'm ashamed enough of it without help.
Anyway, they make everything look better.

BF made fun of me, which is fine.  Then he came into the room pouting because he couldn't wear the jeans that made me try to pick him up when I first met him.
I offered to let him borrow the spanx, he politely declined.

  • You're thinking I'm insane.  It's cool, I'm kinda with you there.

I'm a sucker for hype, though.  I buy random stuff when it comes out.
Ya know, Big mac snack wrap, snuggie, sham wow...
My 12yo sister knows it all and says they are skinny jeans, but they are really stretchy and the tag says jeggings.

I'm not a small girl, and they look suprisingly good on me, thanks to my super-spanx.

I wonder if it's a combo garment.  Sucks you in where necessary and pumps you up where necessary too!
