Wedding question XP

Ok so this is totally the 3rd time posting this on a seperate board ( I tried attire and wedding beauty to no avail) BUUUUUUT I respect your guys's opinions and this is usually a pretty hoppin' board (yes I did just say hoppin') So my question is this: I am wearing Riviera by Maggie Sottero and I was wondering if for the reception would it be too much with the dress to wear a funky (possibly purple) headpeice? p.s. I am having difficulty putting a pic of the dress in my post

Honestly, I think it would look nice. But I love color, so I'll always go with that.

I think it might be too much as well, maybe tone down the headpeice but keep the color?

I think that if you love it, then go for it. I don't know how well purple would look with the dress, but I'd need to see pictures. Regardless, it's a pretty piece so why not?

Yes my colors are deep purple and silver (so purple headpeice with small silver brooch)

Yeah, definately no birds (not related but FI is actually afraid of birds after being attacked by a chicken when he was little) Thanks for the opinion, now I just have to pick the side of my head to wear it! Same side as bow or opposite?

I dunno, I'm a little disappointed that the headpiece is that tame.  I was really hoping for Vegas showgirl.

Thanks guys, I'm still browsing etsy for a purple one that is similar to the one I posted, maybe I'll just ask if the etsy designer can make it in purple for me.
