I've been on a medication for 13 years now. 10 out of the 13 years has been spent trying to wean off of the medication about once every few years. I've never been able to because the withdrawals were just too horrible. I went to a specialist 6 months ago and started a VERY slow tapering process. While its been a long 6 months, it certainly hasnt been awful. I had my final taper last night and woke up feeling pretty darn good. I'm tired and sort of light-headed but holy crap...I am so happy I just want to cry. 13 years and I'm finally off of this stuff. Its unbelievable. Now I can have babies without worrying about the effects, I dont have to depend on a pill every day, I know now that I dont NEED this medicine, and its saving me a crapload of money. I honestly NEVER thought this day would come. That's all. Just soooooo relieved and ready to get this show on the road.
