Boy? Girl? Either?

Re: Boy? Girl? Either?

  • Thanks for answering my etsy rant :) I'll answer yours.

I think that is ADORABLE - it's blue so it could be a boy gift, but I think it's a nice color blue for a girl too.  Either way.

    CUTE!  Who is this for!?

  • Beautiful.  Looks boyish, unless you got something else to go with it, like pink and turquoise stripped pants or something.  But the work on it is really nice--it doesn't look cheap at all.
  • I realize too it says the buttons are on the boys side. I definitely could see it for a girl though. For a friend :)

I'm debating between a sweet sweater, a hat, or a funky onesie. Then I want to get something sweet for mom.
  • Ugh, I can't even venture into Etsy babyland.  I get out of control!  I just love all the little outfits and onsies and I buy a million things (for friends--4 of whom had babies this year and one is due the day after my b-day).
  • Aw you're so nice.

I don't know much about babies so don't put too much stock in my opinion if you don't want - but yeah, that sweater and hat is absolutely darling.

  • I love babies and baby stuff. Love, love, love.
  • Even though it says the boy's side, I think the color is girly.  But the anchors on the buttom sway it the other way.  It's a little confusing, actually.  But soooo adorable.  If the mom wouldn't care that it was a boy's sweater, I would get it. I know a bunch of moms who would just dress it with girly clothes (like over a little dress or with girly colored pants or something. It's too cute.
  • Oh, no.  Thanks, Roxy, I went into the seller's other stuff and look what I found.

Cute for my BFF's baby boy due in November?
  • Jeez you guys and all this baby stuff... I better not start looking at them!

But yes NP - that is a really sweet little sweater!

  • Yes, I saw that! I love the little sailor. Sooo sweet.
  • Okay, I will keep an eye on this seller for baby shower presents.  These little sweaters are killing me, they're so cute.

Thanks for real this time, Roxy Tongue out.  Now I have some gift options!
  • My sister got one of those sweaters for her baby and she wears it all the time.  She loves it.

    Thus the etsy obsession :)

  • Super cute, and an absolutely amazing price - those things aren't exactly a 5-minute job!
  • Blue- from the same seller even?
  • Not sure.  Hers is purple, green and white.  She wears it all the time.  She also got a wicked cute hat.  Knitted and it has a big flower on it.  I love it.

  • I think it's boy although personally I'd be happy to have my baby girl wear it (if I had a baby girl, obviously! haha).
  • ETSY RULES!!

I think it's pretty unisex, it's not frilly or anything.  I'd be thrilled to receive it and I'd put it on a boy or a girl :)

  • I love it!

But then, I'm not big into gendered clothing. My daughter wouldn't have to wear all frilly clothes, you know?

  • It's really sweet for either.  I love little matching caps for sweaters.  Hopefully in about a year, I'll be shopping for baby stuff, too.  I already have an eye on an AB/CD onesie.
