ha, whisky loves being in cabinets. Every time H opens the cabinet his video game thing is in he jumps in and sleeps on the box. I think he feels safer in small spaces. He used to sleep in his litterbox when I first got him. Now, he settles for laundry baskets:

This will make me sound like a crazy cat lady, but in the author bio for my book, it will say that I currently live in Jacksonville with my husband, *name*, and cat, Sir Whisky Sour. My mom couldn't stop laughing when she read that.

Thanks! Everyone likes Whisky. It's impossible not to. Even my aunt, who is absolutely terrified of cats, will pet him. It terrifies me that he will be 14 in December and is getting older. He better live forever, damnit.\

Why is that, ricks? And what does a renal diet consist of? My dad works for/manages a team at a renal lab. They do a lot of blood testing and also dialysis for people with kidney problems. I find his lab fascinating.

Because all the nutrients have to be a certain amount. Like Phosphorus has to be 1000 mg and potassium has to be 2000 mg and calcium has to be 1000 mg and protein has to be 80g and the calories have to be 2000 calories. Plus we are using menus we created last semester and we can't change the foods on them. Everytime I have a couple of nutrients right, another one is off. Everytime I try to change a food amount, it throws another nutrient off. I seriously will never work with renal disease. FUUCK.

It has to be low Na, Low K+, Low protein and low phosphorous. You would not be happy planning this diet lol.

I am late to this thread but the kitty pictures are cute. I just got home from my softball game, we lost....again. My room smells like vanilla sugar cookies (candle) which is kind of uplifting. Im waiting for Kyle to get here because he should be here by now but apparently there is a lot of traffic.

I am getting cherry blossoms (original I know) up my left side onto the back of my left shoulder with part of the serenity prayer flowing through the tattoo.

Its a biggie!

I think you should get it Shesh it sounds meaningful its not like your getting a tattoo of a toilet seat on your butt. I don't know why I thought of that, I couldn't come up with anything better lol.

I have a shamrock on my hip (I'm Irish).  I like it because it's cute, girly, and still has significance to me.  It did hurt like hell, but I think I have a low pain tolerance.  I can see why it gets addicting, though.
