*I apologize in advance if there is already a vent thread. I haven't caught up on the board yet.
So. The cat cost me about $950 today. Most of that is the biopsy, the rest is medication. I had to pay the entire thing before they would even do the procedure. Fine, I can handle that, it would just mean tightening up the purse strings a bit more. Then, this afternoon when I was on my way to pick him up, the Check Engine light on my truck came on.
COME ON. I just paid almost a grand for Whisky and now my truck wants to fvck with me? Not cool, life. Not cool at all. It better be something simple.
And if you're interested, Whisky is doing okay. The vet said that he definitely has an ulcer, but that he won't know if it's lymphoma or IBD until next week, Thursday or so. He said they both look the same on an ultrasound so there is no way to know without the biopsy results. So for now, Whisky is on 3 medications, one for the ulcer and 2 low doses to prepare for either result, just in case.
