Dot - she found her prom dress

She was determinded to wear a short one but fell in love with this one instead.  It doesn't look like it in the picture but it's a midnight blue/black ombre with sparkles.  She looks great in it. 


The shoes we got her for homecoming last year work perfectly.

We had a blast.  She humored me and tried on a more traditional ball gown dress but it was so not her.  There was quite a bit of laughter because of the sounds she made in the dressing room trying to figure out how to get into it though (I swear she could be my daughter).  She spends her life in jeans and Vans so the fact she's even wearing a dress is a big deal.

We just picked up some simple earrings for her (for all 5 holes).  She's probably going to wear her sapphire pendent necklace and since he's getting her a wrist corsage she's going to skip the bracelets.
