Calling all Droid owners!

Okay, iPhone people can probably play too. What are your favorite apps? I need some new games/useful things. I've had the Incredible 2 for just over a week, so my favorites probably aren't anything new:

-Google Goggles
-Moviefone
-Gasbuddy
-Wordsearch
-Where's My Droid
-Coupons
-Teeter
-StumbleUpon

So I'm obviously lacking. Help fill my seven screens with apps? :)

Re: Calling all Droid owners!

  • I don't have a ton but here's the ones I have installed:

AndroZip File Manager - lets you navigate into the internal filesystem and move, copy & delete files you can't get to through the USB connection.

Trillian - an instant messaging client that can talk to AIM, Yahoo, Google, Facebook and a few others all in one, along with sync'ing your chat history so that your desktop copy of Trillian has all the same thing; i.e. no more lost chats.

Shazam - let it listen to a song that is playing, it will tell you what the song is.

Ring Toggle - easy two click widget for changing the phone from silent to vibrate to audio.

Cheezburger Sites - easy interface to fail blog, lolcats, etc.

DroidLight - turn your camera flash into a flash light

Zillow - find out how much real estate has sold for

Crickets - solution for awkward silence

and the app I can't live without:

SMS Popup - it lets you redefine how alerts for incoming text messages are handled, including the option I use, making it repeat the alert once per minute until acknowledged.  I get texts for work so I need it to keep beeping until it wakes me up, not just once.  A side benefit of this app is you can set per-user alerts, so someone who texts you useless crap all the time can be set to have no alert, for example.

  • haha, oh man Vegas. I haven't heard of Trillian in like 5 years. That's awesome.  I use meebo- does the same thing (let's you log into multiple IM accounts.)

Dropbox if you need file access. You can install it on your computer and it basically creates a virtual folder that you can access from everywhere. They have an app for iPhone and Droid, too.

Pandora- my essential app. I caved a long time ago and paid for the annual subscription.

Pinterest- not as awesome as the website, but still fun to look at :)

Open Table- find restaurants nearby (and book reservations!)

    Mint.com

    BBC News

Perks Card- this might be a local thing? But it finds where you are and shows you deals/coupons for things near you (like BoGo at DQ, etc.)

    Groupon

    IheartRadio

At Bat Lite (but I ignore that one lately, since the Twins are breaking my heart.)

MSNBC's news app is really good, probably my favorite one I've downloaded. If you like crossword puzzles, download Shortyz Crosswords, it updates with like 10 puzzles a day! I also use Gas Buddy a lot.

  • Some of the apps I have are: unavailable- it allows you to set it to text the person back if you are driving, in class or just don't want to be bothered by text. If you are a person like me I can't just ignore at least looking at my phone if I get a text and if I'm arguing with someone or if it's a few (certain) people, I can't resist to reply asap. So I like this app, it can make the text come in silent at the moments it's being used. You can put any status in your auto reply as well, you can make it reply to certain people or reply to everyone except certain people. It's really nice.

    GeoQpons
Gtracker- it's a shopping list, keeps track of your grocery shopping, very helpful after your 2nd or 3rd main trip.
    Funny Sms-
    (def, Angry Birds)
    RingLert
    Zedge (ring tones)
Mr. Number- Helps block numbers and text messages from spam or people you just don't want to call or text you anymore. This was good for me since I have had my number for 8 yrs.

I had to get a replacement phone last month so I too am trying to get all the apps I had before. I didn't have many but I did have a few more and different ones.
    Have fun with it.

Ditto lots of the above mentioned ones, and download one called RunPee.  I hate the name, but it gives you the best times at a movie to go use the bathroom without missing too much plot.  I like that one.  I'll look at my phone in a sec and post more.

ETA: Nevermind, I won't post more. I don't have any more that aren't already listed above.

  • Weatherbug, Car Finder, Kindle. I like my II Global a lot since I bought the extended battery - the original battery sucked.
