I must say, I am super jealous of everyone getting ready for Thanksgiving! Just another normal week around here.

On the positive side, I have a meeting with a potential new client tomorrow which would be a promotion and a raise from all my current clients! :-D

Cleaning today again but luckily I'm almost done.  I'm just in shine and polish mode today so 2 hours max plus whatever  time the carpet guy needs.  Thank goodness.   That place was such a god awful pit.

its too loud here. there is a rumor they will shut down the power for maintenance at noon. so I might get to go home! woo!

Sorry, about Millie, JCB. I hope its nothing too serious.

I'm trying to see when son is driving up, I hope it's tomorrow morning instead of tonight, I dont like him on the road with so much traffic.

I get off at 2 today which is nice. I have to do a bit of cleaning, plus I started a cork Christmas tree yesterday, I'd like to finish that up.

I'm really hoping we get out of work considerably early today. Holiday traffic builds up early around here. I still have to go to the grocery store to get some ingredients for the pies that I'm making tonight. I sure hope there's still frozen pie crusts. I'm debating if I should go to the less crowded, but quite a bit more expensive store, or the really crowded store with better prices. 

On Friday I have my 10 year high school reunion. I'm half dreading it, half looking forward to it. And I still can't figure out what to wear.

Thanks ladies! Edie, glitches like that make me nuts!! I love the holidays, I need motivation to do a deep clean every now and then and company always does it! The fall clean is always the worst one, cause I slack off all summer between my garden and the cottage. Who wants to be inside cleaning on a beautiful day?

I'm going to put together a couple of T-giving casseroles before I go to work this afternoon.  I need to clean as well but I think H can manage that tomorrow while I prepare the rest of the dinner.  It's going to be a very simple menu.  I don't really like to cook and I certainly am not an imaginative cook.

Had a wake last night and will have another on Friday.

jcb - I hope the doc can find a resolution for Millie.

Our electricity went out in our whole building yesterday at 4, and our systems have been jacked up all day. And IT isn't here, of course. So I can't do any work and I'm just going to sit here until they tell us we can leave early (that's the hope anyways).
The day before that the internet went out. There is major construction on the highway next to us so they thing someone is being careless with some very important wiring. Why couldn't that happen today????

I made pumpkin hummus last night to take to my parent's tonight, and so many other goodies are to follow. I can't wait to hear about everyone's meals!

Car broke down on my way home for lunch.... Afternoon session cancelled while I got towed to the dealership. Now dealing with the guilt trip over not doing their ridiculously expensive over the top recommended maintenance packages. Apparently I should've gotten my spark plugs changed after owning the car for a year! WTF? Grrrrr! Stopping at the local GF bakery for a great when this is overl
