So, if you're claiming this isn't fake, what advice did you hope to get? And seriously, if you just want lip service, maybe this isn't the best place for you. Weddingbee is much more willing to blow smoke up your ass.

I looked MUD up in the sticky on etiquette. I couldn't find the kwills one though... I just joined today because I was needing a place to find advice. So, far no one has given me anything good enough to actually implement

Are they really going to find out? Does your FI's mom tell everyone she meets? If you have only met his mom once then I would assume they won't be seeing each other very often after you are married. If you think they are going to find out somehow, sit them down, tell them and then tell them that you don't care about their issues with your FI's mom, assuming they will have issues, and that you are getting married to FI regardless of their opinions and they will be civil to your FMIL the few times they will see her and thats it.

I actually know someone transgendered and he doesn't tell people unless he really feels they should know. Like a Really close friend or someone he is in a relationship with and may be getting serious and is considering sleeping with..

EDIT.. I think I missed something while I was writing this...
