Re: whats the most embarrassing thing that has EVER happened to you

  • Well now you need to tell me what that was.
  • I WILL. once everyone else posts stories so I can judge and see if I should post mine. lol

  • I've told this story before.

When I was taking figure skating lessons, I was practicing, and I skated backwards and jumped through the air, right out the door of the arena and onto some cute college boys.  Nobody was hurt.  They shoveled me back onto the ice and I kept skating like nothing had happened.

This isn't the most embarrassing thing ever, but it was pretty fucking embarrassing and it happened to me very recently.

Ben and I went to a neighboring town last weekend to visit some friends of ours.  They have a new puppy, so we brought Lucy and they played together and all that stuff.  Then we went out for drinks and later, got shitfaced bombass drunk and came home and passed out.

The following morning, my friend woke up and was like, "Wtf, where the hell did these panties come from?" and pulled an old, nasty pair of underwear from her purse.  We all had a pretty good laugh at it because I mean, come on.  It was a wild night but granny panties in your purse?

Yeah.  Uh, they were mine.  I was on the rag and had packed old, gross underwear to wear the next day.  Our suitcase was on the floor; I assume one of the puppies got into it.  Probably Lucy, because she loves underwear.  And I assume that Lucy somehow decided to hide the panties in my friend's purse.

I didn't dare own up to it.  It was way too embarrassing.  Plus, the notion that the night was debauched enough for some random, gross underwear to show up in  a purse the next morning is much funnier than having to own up to them actually being mine.

  • Hell no I didn't tell Ben they were mine.  Maybe this is lame, but I don't really ever let him see me in my gross underwear, just my nice ones.  I like feeling sexy when he's looking at me in my undies, and I don't really think I'd feel that way if he saw me in my wide-ass old granny briefs.

  • I ran track in high school (hurdles to be exact) and once at practice I was asked by my coach to try to alternate legs when jumping which is really fuucking hard. Any who, I tried and was going full speed, tripped over the hurdle, went tumbling, and rolled down the track, in front of everyone. thank god it was at practice and not a meet.

<div>Scott doesn't get to see me in my "gross" panties, but he would recognize them from the wash, I think.  I refuse to buy granny panties so my TOM panties are all older pairs that have faded or don't quite fit the way I want them to, so he can't see them.</div><div>

  • I can't really think of anything. It's hard to embarrass me, I laugh most things off or don't care enough to consider it embarrassing. the only thing that comes to mind is something that happened at the wedding. It wasn't super embarrassing, but I was so nervous that at the time it seemed like a bigger deal than it was.

My dad had just bought a karaoke machine and brought it for the wedding. The night before we were playing around with the settings, and one makes your voice super high pitched. We had a lot of fun with it. Well, the next day no one tested it before the wedding. My stepdad was supposed to use it first for the ceremony, but he decided to talk really loud instead so I got it first. Sure enough, the setting wasn't switched back.

So my vows started off with me talking like a chipmunk who just sucked in a lungful of helium. Everyone laughed, myself included, but it did make me even more nervous. I honestly think someone (my little brother, probably) turned the setting to try to embarrass my stepdad, but now won't own up to it since it was me instead.

I'm not "phishing" but okay I will tell now:
so I'm dog-sitting at my FIs parents house for a couple days, and I don't know the neighborhood. Anyway, anytime a person walks/breathes/drives by the house the dogs freak out and bark. So the big dog (moose) kept barking a bunch, I look across the yard and there's a man standing in the neighbors driveway, facing FIs parents house, and staring at it (I'm blind as a bat mind you). So moose is freaking out and I bring him into the room with me, away from the window. 10 minutes later I notice the man is STILL standing there, and moose follows me and freaks out again. I start freaking out because the man hasn't moved/ I hate being home alone in a new house so I call my FI. my FI is on the phone with me for 20 minutes because the man still hasn't moved, my FI tells me to call the cops, I do, and when I start to walk outside I REALIZE ITS A cardboard cut out. WTF why is it in someone's driveway I felt like such an idiot.

Do you have a "new panty day" dance too?  And a song?  Because I totally have a song.  It's my version of the "I've got a dollar/pickle" song from the Little Rascals.  But substituting the word "panties" of course.

I feel like every woman has "gross" underwear. at least, I do. I wear it during the rag, also.
    :3
  • Hmm, funny embarrasing:

I was wearing a skirt with these cute little covered in hearts underwear. I was in my 9th grade Geography class, in the front row of course, and my skirt had gotten tucked into my undies. So when I bent over to study the map we had, everyone in the entire class got to see my heart covered rear end. And no one told me for 5 minutes, when one of the girls finally came up to me and whispered "Hey Steph, we uhm, can see your butt."

That's one of my many the-entire-school-has-seen-my-ass stories.

    Sad embarrassing:

I was definitely dumped by this guy I was seeing for his ex, while I was naked and begging him to have the sex with me (for the first time). That was definitely the most mortifying moment of my entire life.
  • Okay I have one:

Years ago when I was moving into my apartment I was waiting outside for my dad to show up and help me move the rest of the big stuff. It was the middle of August (so about 500 million degrees), I was exhausted, and started to feel a bit delirious. While keeping my eyes out for any sign of my dad, I had to continually squint because of the blinding sun.

Finally, I saw my dad walking toward my stairs and I eagerly ran up to meet him while screaming "Dad! I'm soo glad you found it! Help me already!!" When my dad failed to show any recognition and continued to walk toward me at what was now a slow, hesitant pace, I opened my eyes wider to get a better assessment of this now weird situation.

Now, two feet away from my "dad", my eyes cleared...it was not only NOT my dad, but it was a gorgeous man about my age (23 at the time) looking at me like I was about to skin him alive. I could only get out the inaudible words "Um. Sorry. I thought you were my dad." He quickened his pace and walked right on by without a word. Awesome.
