I want one of those "guests attending/not attending" ticker things.

Do I need to actually make a guest list on here to get one, or can I just enter the numbers?

This stuff confuses me.

Yeah, I assumed it was based off the guest list you kept on here. I remember seeing it somewhere, but can't remember for sure.

Don't use the stars.  You can change the numbers and use the parts you want and omit the parts you don't from that

If you want a different look to one (it's pink), here's one that's used on my local board a lot:
