Is money really any better reason than fame/tv time? It just seems like your using your wedding/marriage as a cash cow.  Also, "acting" like a total jerk to your FI right before getting married doesn't sound like planning for a happy marriage.

Are you sharing the money with your family/friends who you will be a zilla to?  It might be fun to act crazy for some money, but it probably wouldn't be fun for you family and friends who are not getting paid (even if they knew you were pretending).

I would never do it. I don't care that other people's opinions really don't matter in the grand scheme of things if you don't know them personally, I couldn't handle all the smack that internet strangers would be talking about me and my family. Plus I feel like this is something that could define you for the rest of your life. You might have trouble getting future jobs and other opportunities because people would judge you just based on what they saw on TV.

Actually, I've considered emailing them. I'm hesitant because if there's money involved they probably give you stuff they want you to do/say for the camera (Like the girl who smashed the cake and broke her flowers...I don't think that was real). I don't want everyone thinking I'm a bitch because the Bridezillas producers told me to throw a temper tantrum like a child.
But I agree with you YIO, the extra money would be nice and I would probably do it if the price was right, in all honesty.

I would do four weddings though. That seems like it would be fun. lol.

I'm not normally a bitch, not anymore anyway, but I can be if I need to. I have decided against doing it for most of the reason listed above, and one of my BMs has a contract with Disney. If she is on the show they will fire her. It's her lifelong dream to work for them and I won't put her dream in jeopardy.

I wouldn't recommend doing it.  Once it's out there everyone can see it.  I'd be most worried about future employers, etc.  You may have your whole life planned out, idk, but what if you or FI or a close family member want to run for some sort of office in 20 years?  There are just too many reasons why I wouldn't do it, personally.

That would be crazy. I can barely watch the show it's so annoying. I couldn't imagine being on it. Hahaha. Glad you decided against it.

YIO all I have to say is your too good for this. Don't lower yourself to that $$ or not. Self respect and respect for your family is more than that show could ever pay to lose that.

I know everyone hates Karen...I do too...lol...but my most hated was Valerie for some reason. Couldn't effin STAND her. She was the one who threw her flowers on the floor, and smashed the cake, and always talked about how much money they had...blah blah blah.

I wouldn't do it, even though any amount of money would be welcome and useful to me (lol)...I just don't think I'm that good of an actress to keep up the uber-bitch persona.
