Snarky Brides

I have a really weird/ stupid question...

Sorry to be a PW.
Okay, so I love in the winter when the light shines in the windows during the day. The light seems different in the winter, more subtle, grey.... does anyone know what I mean?

I'm crazy aren't I?

Re: I have a really weird/ stupid question...

  • You clearly spend the entire winter drunk as a skunk.

    (I have no idea.)
  • Oh, I needed to add: Pretty sure it only happens when it's really cold or there is snow.
  • Well I don't really notice anything different. For me it just seems brighter out because the sun is reflecting off of the snow. I suppose at different elevations it could have different effects. I do notice that when there are a lot of clouds in the sky in the middle of night (no matter what time of year) that there is always an eerie light.

  • I think it may have to do with the light reflecting off snow, or with the clouds. I wish I could describe it/ have a picture of it. I miss it.
  • Mmm k, so I'm googling it and it may be because the sun is lower in the sky, making the light come in differently. I swear it feels different when its cold though.

  • No, it totally makes sense!  I never doubted yooooou!
  • You're not crazy.  I swear the light changes in October, and colors look different.  I can't explain why.

  • I like it when it snows, and then freezes so the snow is all sparkly. In the morning, the ground looks like it's covered in diamonds. So pretty.
  • You're not crazy, Roxy.  It looks different to me too.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

  • I'm a tiny bit jealous of all of you and your snow talk. If it would snow once or twice a year here, I would be pleased.

  • I know what you're talking about. Here, in the winter, the sky is rarely blue. Everything looks miserably dead on the ground until the first snowfall (which I'm waiting for, because it will even out the weather). And, it's so cold, the snow is dry, so it does that sparkly thing. It never did that in NC.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
