Snarky Brides

*Roxy*

I am going to a wedding in October which is going to be basically outside in the evening.  I am completely stuck on what to wear.  I was wondering if you had any good websites for me to look for a dress.

TIA

Re: *Roxy*

  • Haha um, I always look at Modcloth, Anthropologie, AE, H&M (that will only work if you have one local though) and Nordstroms.

I also recently found a site where you can rent designer dresses which interest me but I'm not sure if thats somethin you'd want?
  • When I get desperate (which is pretty much everytime I special occasion dress shop) I go to every stores website I can think of.
  • I'd definitely look into that.  My H hates how much I spend on clothes and I am almost positive he has a ball coming up which means purchasing 2 dresses.

My issue with why I am so stuck on finding a dress is because my cousin (the bride) has said some things that have completely confused my sisters and me.  She is wearing a traditional gown, the bridesmaids are in floor length dresses, and the groomsman will be in tuxedos but she told my dad that he could wear jeans if he wanted.  It's also going to be outside in October in Massachusetts.  The weather could be nice or freezing.  I have found a few dresses that I like but the look would kind of get ruined by having to wear a cardigan with it.
  • Ooh that makes it really difficult. Could you find one that would look good with tights in case it is cold?

    I forgot about Victorias Secret.

See, part of my thing is I'll wear my everyday dresses over and over but If I get a nice dress for a wedding, I typically don't want to wear it again. I also have to have a new dress for any new thing (Easter, Valentines, Special dinner). Its my moms fault.
  • Bah, that shirt has 3 minutes left
  • It got to $20.13. I let it go.
