Charlie wants to register here. They don't exactly have a registry set up, only a wishlist, so we'd have to put it in his name only, but otherwise I'm relatively okay with it. I feel like at least one of our registries should be mostly man things.
Would you think it was cute if you found out somebody was registered there? We could get a pepper mill that looks like R2D2.

Yeah, I have $700.00 worth of stuff on my wishlist. I would totally register there.

Also, Uncommon Goods has some really cool, albeit expensive stuff..

Oh, and to answer the original question: I would find it adorable if you registered there! Maybe not for t-shirts or mana potions (which are too expensive to be wedding favors: I checked), but for some of the kitchen gadgets? All kinds of awesome in my book.
OK, sounds like lots of positive response on this idea! I think FI's brothers and friends would like it a lot. I was feeling really bad today because we registered at BB&B this week, and they gave us this book about registering, and the first 73 pages are all about the bride, and then at the back there are two pages of "hot picks for the groom", and they include a deep fryer and a trash can. Sigh.

I really hate that. When we were looking at venue's, if someone said "Well, it's the BRIDE'S day", we were out of there. No matter how much I liked it. Especially if after I said "Well, it's OUR day" they insisted.

[QUOTE]Aww, purrbucket. I hope you don't mind me using that, because I'm gonna. :) I'm impressed with your multitasking abilities, that is, knotting, drinking, and writing! Perhaps if I pop open that bottle of strawberry rhubarb wine I have chilling in the kitchen, I'll be inspired to write as well.

Be careful! I think there's a fine line between creative and goofy, and mine was a glass ago. :) I'm going to have to give up soon, I think.
How are things going for you?

Haha, perhaps doing rewrites/edits tomorrow is a good idea after all then. ;) Things are okay for me. I had a really crappy day at work. Not clients, just a bunch of bureaucratic BS that's affecting a significant part of my caseload. Thank goodness for higher ups who support me, but it still sucks. Sorry about the vagueness, but you know...
Oh, and btw, ThinkGeek is where we got our current shower curtain (it's Pi made of the digits of Pi): http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/gear/cfd3/
Taco cat: Always a palindrome. ALWAYS, okay J&K?

That sucks that you had a rough day. Sounds like you deserve some strawberry rhubarb wine unencumbered by edits and rewrites. :) They will always be there in the morning.

Charlie also had a bunch of other pirate-related things in his old bachelor bathroom, but I told him he had to pick one only for this apartment. There's only so much pirate that one bathroom needs. :)

[QUOTE]Yar, that be true! Sorry, had to. :) The curtain automatically looks more authentic because of the look on that dude's face. Hahaha. In terms of pirate moderation, I felt the same way about the Pi curtain. Anything more and it would start to look like a college guy's dorm. At MIT.

Exactly. I had my single gal apartment decorated in hot pink damask, but I know that's not the kind of thing a couple should have. :)

Pumpkin pie is good for you, it has fiber and anitoxidants, water away mouth!
Sarah, I'm just imagining your decor love child of an apartment. I'm guessing things are pretty equally split? I didn't really decorate too much prior to meeting H, and he had only rented rooms up until we moved in together, so we're still kind of stunted in the decorating department. I just never prioritize stuff like that when it comes to our money, and I'm not creative enough to make something fabulous out of flea market finds. I just want to move into Crate and Barrel, but they don't like when you do that.

But I am getting those light saber chop sticks for J and Chloe for Christmas stockings. Hell, I'm getting them for my stocking, too!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
