Another Intro post

I thought I would finally post a little about me since I likely won't have to P&R today.
I've posted a couple times here but for the most part I've lurked. I've wanted to post some more but thought I should do a brief intro so I don't get "And you are.... " responses.

I'm Dee and getting married June 22nd 2013 to my wonderful fiance K. We've been engaged for almost a year and have been together for 8.5 years! Getting down to the year mark is exciting.

I visit this board in addition to the DIY, local and month boards. (I am the June 2013 mod)

Through my lurking, I will answer one question I know will come up :P

I have a cat named See Ya (As in See Ya Later, as you only see a grey blur of him, if you see him at all.) and a dog named Chance. He has a mohawk that I won't let the groomer touch. I'll need to find a better photo that shows it. A friend combs it over and calls him Trump.

Any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Chance looks exactly like my Sandy. I miss him every day. Does Chance also get all flustered and embarrassed when you get him shaved/cut?

Ali09 - Surprisingly not. He LOVES it. He is an odd ball. However he does possess an apparently typical cocker trait at times - submissive urination

I really do love the cocker spaniel breed. So gentle and friendly and lots of energy haha

Hi Dee!  I'm surprised the grey blur sat still long enough for a photo.  He/she looks somewhat like our Justy.  Chance is adorable.

I remember the submissive peeing. We usually had to have him greet new people outside because of it.

Haha Marrin713 - Yes, sometimes I can get him to sit still. If we have company over, you'd never see him at all. Our guests always ask why Chance has 2 food/water dishes and we tell them one is the cats and they are in shock we have a cat haha.

Kate - Yes, we try to get him to go outside to go pee in advance of guests. Most of our friends know not to greet him at the door but some forget and do it and boom - stinky foyer lol.
When K & I come home, we don't do direct eye contact with him and we'll call out for the cat so the dog doesn't feel the need to be submissive - even though he is crazy happy and jumping on us when we walk in the door. Silly dog.
