I was creepin' on some threads on E and saw you mention A Song of Ice and Fire. I had no idea that there were any other fans of those books on here. I'm so hyped about the HBO show too, I think it's going to be amazing

Dany is my favorite out of the main characters too definitely. Out of the ones that don't get POV chapters I like Petyr and Sandor even though they're both kinda evil haha.

I look at George's stupid livejournal a few times a week to see if he's making any more progress

Me too =D One of the guys that runs a guild on my WoW server knows him personally. I kissed a lot of ass when I found that out. I always liked Sandor too, Petyr is intriguing, but way too slimey for me to actually like.

It's weird because I don't usually root for the bad guys but something about the way those characters are written makes them really intriguing. Yeah I'm really excited for the series, I think it's going to be really good and maybe it will get GRRM's rear in gear to finish the rest of the books. I didn't read the series until 2007 so I didn't have to wait as long as some but it's still a long wait!
