It's a Catholic Church.  I guess they're inappropriate.  Which they are once I thought about it... idk why I thought that would work for everyone haha. My girls and myself were going to wear flip flops.  That decision changed early this week.  They are wearing silver shoes that they own and I just ordered the shoes I posted

No, really, it's because they're just not appropriate attire for church.  Fine for the reception when you want to kick it, but not for the ceremony.

It still irritates me that someone actually had the nerve to say you had to wear heels to be pretty. Pretty sure shoes have nothing to do with that.

I dont get it though, your dress covers your feet so why does it matter. Its not like you have to prove your shoes.

It was moreso for my bridesmaids. but between the kneeling and the sitting through mass, my feet might still show.

Yeah I guess that is true. I only wore my heels for my ceremony and pictures, and even then I kept sinking in the grass and getting it caught on the netting of my train (I didnt bustle it for pics) and it was a total pain in the ass.
