I think I'm pretty much the same, I'm a little shy at first but then once you get to know me I'm loud, talkative and joking around. I think I'm funnier in real life, or I'm guessing I am because my friends are always laughing at (with?) me.
I get really easily embarrassed, even for other people.

I think I'm bitchier on here, I have a hard time being mean in person.

Monday morning I'm wearing a dress or a skirt andtank top because its too hot here for pants.

Friday night I typically sit at home watching movies and eating my weekend candy with T. Otherwise, we'll go to dinner and a movie.

How is your personality different than it is on the boards? How is it the same? I am really intense and loud irl. I am also a better listener than I am reader and I probably come across as a lot funnier and light hearted in real life. I am more on edge here and more of a know it all. I like more people more frequently on here than I do IRL, though. A lot of irl people annoy me.

I think I'm pretty much the same in real life.  I have to be very assertive at work, bc some of the guys are chauvanistic jerks and my students need to understand that I'm in control of the class.  But, otherwise, I'm pretty laid back.

Monday morning-- /> Usually work clothes, but not this summer.  I wear my favorite outfits and highest heels on Mondays, because I hate getting up for work.

Friday evening-- /> Movies or something low key with FI.  I'm too tired from work to do much more.

I think its pretty much the same. I like to think I'm funnier in real life because my delivery is better than what I can do with text.

Monday morning I am wearing a dri-fit shirt, running shorts, and athletic shoes for bootcamp. Then I'll come home and put on a skirt or dress and sandals for work. In the winter I wear pants and pumps. 

Friday night I am on the couch catching up on TV and knotting. Sometimes I go swim with my friends at a local lake.

How is your personality different than it is on the boards? How is it the same?  I probably come off kinda dumb but I'm really not, lol.  I'm kinda sarcastic and laid back in real life.  I like classic rock music, love trashy television on E!, I love working out.  I grew up on a farm so I'm a small town girl at heart.  I like beer and hot wings, road trips, laughing until I cry.  I try to be nice to everyone I meet because you never know if it's the last time you'll see somebody - or vice versa.

It's Monday morning. What are you wearing?  Black slacks and a dress shirt for work.

It's Friday night. What are you doing?  Fiance and I usually meet some friends for drinks or to watch a baseball game.  A lot of times we are traveling on Friday nights to our home town to do wedding crap or to visit family.  Sometimes we just go to a movie, or stay in and veg.  We like to do pretty much whatever comes up.

How is your personality different than it is on the boards? I really don't know that it is different. I think when I first started posting, I was different than I am now. I think back then, I was nicer and pretended to be interested in things / people that I really wasn't because I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings and I cared what people thought of me.

How is it the same? I think it's the same in pretty much every way. That's kind of hard to answer because I don't see myself as others probably see me.

It's Monday morning. What are you wearing? A sundress. I wear sundresses every day.

It's Friday night. What are you doing? Sitting at home with the dudes. We are usually tired on Fridays, so we might grill out or grab a quick bite and then we usually just have movie night or family game night.

I'm generally pretty quiet (observant, as my mom says) unless I'm really comfortable with someone. Very sarcastic. I have a warped sense of humor (thanks, mom) but I don't usually show it here because I think what I say would be taken wrong. Tone is too easily misunderstood on message boards. My mom and DH say I have the perfect "You're an idiot" face and apparently I let my face do the talking most of the time. I'm also a really bad listener because I get distracted easily, so I actually pay attention more on here because I can read.

It's pretty similar to my personality on here, even though nobody knows what my personality really is on TN, because I don't post often. The only difference is in real life I tend to be a little more bitter and harsh with people who irritate me, because I can't hold my temper. On here, I try REALLY hard to be nice, because I remember being flamed when I was new and it really hurt my feelings.

On Monday morning I'm probably wearing my work uniform. Yes, I have a work uniform, even though I have my own office, my own business cards, and my own parking space. My company loves the clone look I guess. My uniform consists of a white button-up collared dress shirt with the company logo on the left and my first name embroidered on the right, and black pants on the bottom. AND they made me pay for the shirts when I started - so lame...

On Friday night I'm probably wearing comfy pants and an old t-shirt and being extremely lazy. Likely watching TV or a movie.

I'm outgoing, most people think I'm funny, but very dry/sarcastic- and I'm very honest. I'm always in popular demand when a friend needs to go bathing suit shopping, because I'll tell you if your ass looks enormous in something. Don't ask if you don't want to know! LOL!   I am very creative, so end up helping a lot with DIY things, and problem solving (I was a non-profit event planner for 10 years) I'm very openminded, very liberal, sometimes a little too outspoken. I am fiercely protective of those I love, and almost never sweat the small stuff.

On a monday morning I'm probably in pj's, and probably the same on a Friday night- curled up on the sofa with Fi and the dog watching a movie and eating some take out.

Monday morning, I am wearing a sundress (now b/c it's been so hot) or jeans and nice shirt (if it's cold) for work and flip-flops unless there is snow on the ground.

Friday night, I am usually chilling at home with my DD and FI then doing homework once DD goes to bed.  Although last week we went to our friend's house and had a blast.

IRL- My humor is rather sarcastic, and I'm generally straight faced when I joke. I'm very outgoing. H tells me I have a "big personality.

Perfect example from the video store last night.
Teller- This movie is great. I think you'll like it.
Me- Does it have a lot of sex and violence, because that's really all we're looking for?

I'm a bit more reserved on here, because I think before I post and try not to hurt people's feelings.

I usually just lurk on the internationals, but I think I'm more blunt IRL, but then again, I'm more comfotable being like that with my friends or people I've known for awhile, I feel like a jerk if I'm mean to people I don't know lol.  It's also hard to interpret people's tone coming off the computer and I'm always afraid of that.

How is your personality different than it is on the boards? How is it the same?  I think my personality is the same, I would have the same opinions if the person was asking me in person. I am opinionated, outgoing, definitely a talker, goofy.

I'm not hurt easily (I just tell myself the person is an idiot and not worth it), but I also cry when angry. it's weird. I want to throw and smash things, but at the same time I have tears in my eyes.

My dad's ex-wife used to giggle when she was really mad. It was creepy.

I have a really dry, dark sense of humor, and find it hard to translate it into internet (I'm not too used to internet conversations anyway). I feel like people can't tell I'm joking and so I'm always editing myself. I probably come off pretty boring and reserved.

I also really do know English and can properly form a sentence irl. I try to use capitals and puncuation here, but admit I still don't edit as much as I should. It's okay though because when I first came on the knot I typed like this:

I don't think I have a personality on the boards I'm very quiet and distant in real life until I get to know a person. I do try to maintain a veneer of politeness at all times, however. I will say I'm a lot more reserved about my opinions in real life than I am on the internet!

personality in real life. (Because this is, pretend life?) I'm quiet and introverted, which is different from the way I was in high school/college. Unless I've been drinking; which is only about 2-3 times a year. I can be fairly sensitive IRL and take things the wrong way, too. I'm rarely a biitch, but it has been known to happen. I went off on a guy last year, and J sees me grumpy sometimes and angry a couple of times. He knows how to divert it, though.

I think that maybe I come across as a little more extroverted than I really am. There are times when the sensitivity shows. My anger has shown here a couple of times in the recent past. Before, I just kind of "hid in a corner" so to speak. Apparently, it wasn't appreciated when I got mad.

It's Monday morning. What are you wearing? Work clothes. Right now, with the leg brace, that consists of a skirt or khakis. I don't know if my regular dress pants or my jeans (we can be casual on Fridays) will fit over the brace.

It's Friday night. What are you doing? Same thing I do M-Th nights, except a nap might be involved. J works from 1 - 9:30, so I'm home by myself. I change into at minimum yoga pants and one of his long sleeve tees, or pajama bottoms and said tee/sweatshirt.
