    I know I wouldn't have been able to. With the exception of our LDR beginning, and Scott having overnight shifts we haven't been apart for longer than a day. I'm definitely a cling monster anyways.

    My sister did a year in rural Mexico for her dissertation research. BIL was sad, but he said the house was clean and clutter free that whole year! He went to visit her twice and they went to see some cool stuff, but it was really hard on them to be apart for a year. She travels a lot (anthropology professor) but never for that long.

    Kim, that's great that he was able to do it, and get back safely. I'm happy for you two.

    Pretty much.  He is getting to take his R&R in 2 weeks though, so hopefully it should calm things down just a little bit. He's flying in the day of their 11th wedding anniversary.
