Confession? The last 3 episodes of TWD have sorta made me reconsider how I feel about the zombie apocalypse. Zombies are total a-holes and I don't know that I want to fight and fight and fight just to have one rip my stomach open or rip my neck apart. They're persistantly strong and that bugs me.

Good morning! Happy birthday, Steph!

I found a new job opening that I'm thinking about applying for, but I'm trying to decide if I want it badly enough to commute all the way down to Fayetteville.  H works 80 miles north of there, so even if we lived smack in the middle it would be a good 45 minutes for each of us. But there isn't really a city in the exact center that we would want to live in, so it'd probably be more like an hour to an hour 15 minutes for me. And it's a case management job, so I'd be driving around most of the day doing home visits and such on top of the commuting time. Bleh.

I had a weird zombie mixed with that 70s show dream that night. Zombie dreams don't really affect me anymore I have them so much. And? Tk keeps flipping me back to the mobile site. Eff.

Oh FFS, my coirker is killing me. He just leaned back in his chair and said "Hey Mehgan, since the repeal of DADT, we can't say anything like "Hey fagg0t" or "That's gay" right?". I said yes, way to be six months late. And he replied "That sucks, because that's like part of everyday language." I told him "Maybe it's part of your everyday language, but that doesn't make it ok". ::head desk::

My H took a sick day today and it threw my whole morning routine off so I feel like I'm forgetting something.  I hate that I'm such a creature of habit.

Happy birthday Steph!  

I'm relaxing after a pretty nasty storm came through here last night.  About to take my doggie out and get some lunch.  Then I might drive downtown and drop off a resume for a second PT job.  

We've gotten more rain here in my area since the beginning of 2012 than we did all of 2011 (or at least it feels like it).  I'm hoping that I get to take some time off this summer to go enjoy the river and actually get to do some tubing.

Yay for SPRING! It's kind of difficult to see, but below is our garden box that my H and I finished last night. Box built, ground roto-tilled. We'l get some dirt/compost in there in a few weeks and start my first garden!

Yay for gardens!

My backyard is an absolute mess right now.  I think I'm not even going to try and create a garden this year.  Let it all go to hell and try again next year.

The only thing that survived my garden from last year was my jalapeno plants.  They're still growing tasty jalapenos.
