Bridezillas

Ok, i know I shouldn't be watching this, but I had to share. This lady is getting married in 4 days and has been spending all kinds of her parents money for a 300 person guest list, but she "forgot" to send invitations. So no one knows if they are invited, or where it is. And she is totally nonchalant about it. She said, " Well if they don't come, then I know how they feel about me". I bet she bitches about it later.

I can't believe she didn't even invite people!

  • Just goes to show, for many women it's ALL about their wedding day and not the marriage.

  • Haha I am watching it too and yeah. I would think that invitations would be pretty high on most brides list but apparently not.
  • I know. I can't believe that. She spent so much time arguing with her mom about including soup in the menu, and she didn't even send out the invitations. Its almost like she doesn't care.

Now she's getting a colonic so she can fit in her dress. She can't be for real.

  • LMFAO! That was one of my favorite episodes. I'm so addicted to those shows. I can't believe anyone would marry woman like that.
  • is there any where to watch these episodes online?

  • My first wedding-related dream was that we forgot to send invitations so we passed out flyers the morning-of at the main stoplight in town.  I'm from a pretty small town, in my dream I kept saying "but all the same people are getting invited this way"
  • pirate, that's basically how it works in my hometown too. There are always more people at the reception because it spreads by word of mouth.

Aedes, I don't know. I don't know if Hulu has them, but they may have videos on We's site.

  • The 20 year old Maria killed me. "I'm not working out because I'm fat, I can fit in my dress I just want to breathe."  Then she had the nerve to tell the manicurist that she was ugly! I would have slapped her!

  • Holy Train Wreck! I'm bummed I missed that episode. I usually don't watch it, because I want to throw something at the TV, but I genuinely would have liked to point and laugh at that BSC girl!

I'm not going to say I haven't crashed wedding ceremonies in my hometown.  But the only receptions I've invited myself to have been "open invitation"

Every time I watch bridezillas I spend the entire time going "these people aren't real"
  • Oh yeah, that Maria chick is on the road to a nasty divorce right now. Her FI works and she sits at home because she "deserves" it because she is "perfect". Whatever.

  • I love that show...I know, it's sick. :-)

They did one in my city, and the girl went to the same place where I get my hair done.  The last time I was in, I asked my hair dresser about it--she said the girl was actually pretty nice.  As soon as she came in, she apologized in advance for what she was about to do.  However, she seemed like one of the more "sane" girls on this show--I have no doubt that some of them are actually that crazy.

Which bridezilla, because none of the ones I've seen are sane in the slightest!

  • She was a Cincinnati girl--she definitely flew off the handle a few times, but it was no where near the crazy of some of the cake/flower/fiance smashing girls.  Karen, anyone? :-)
  • I don't remember her.

Regina is killing me.  I'm dying laughing.  I keep thinking it can't be real, but sadly, it probably is.

  • Are you talking about Mia from Houston?  I heard about her, getting married at bell tower on 34th street (my friend was considering that venue). well anyways, mia had the invites but didn't send them out, emailed guests instead and then had panic attack that noone would show up to her wedding....crazy bia !
  • My cousin got married in the same venue as Regina. I wasn't there, but I remember all the pictures. It is a gorgeous venue.

  • I'm so mad I missed this thread!  I had to catch up on last week's episode and then watch this week's while cleaning for our vacation.

I love that Mia made such a big deal about that damn soup and thought it was so special and they showed the caterer microwaving it before the reception.

I also loved Kendall with that terribel DJ.  We went to a wedding in June that had a DJ that sucked, although not that bad.  FI and I went on a DJ immediately after that, because the good people book very fast here and we didn't want to end up in that situation.  He really has someone searching for CDs. It was almost as sad as the bride that had to clean up the park after her wedding.  THAT was priceless!
  • I love Bridezillas! Even if most of it is probably fake. No wonder they stress when they haven't even picked food or flowers a week before the wedding.

    Good times.
  • That show is my Sunday night Guilty Pleasure.
