They're testing me next week for the job. It's a personality test, common sense test (seriously.) and a math test. Gah.

How is everyone's day? Any plans for this weekend? I'm working until Thursday next week, so no plans for me..

Yay!  You'll do wonderfully. 

This weekend I'm spending by the pool with a lot of beer and other alcoholic drinks with my mom.  H is working, my dad is in FL taking care of my grandmother, my siblings are out and about and my other grandmother is in Bermuda.  My mom and i will enjoy the quiet, sun and pool together.  Yay.

Weekend plans - We are going canoeing on the Rock River and camping on a sandbar.  I *really* hope it doesn't rain.

Sherr I'm jealous of Hangover 2. I was SUPPOSED to see Pirates the other day, but it didn't happen.

Also, I'm starving and have to pee, but I'm alone in the office and can't lock it up. Damnit.

H and I are going to my dad's house this weekend where we will simultaneously try to forget what day/date it is, while celebrating H's birthday.  It's going to be a weird weekend and I'm not really looking forward to it.

I'm so sad CCF

This is a pic of a friend of mine, she got home today and they can't drive on their road anymore, so they drive up to the edge of the water on the road, walk through the water and then a car on the other side takes them the rest of the way home.  She's carrying her luggage.



I've looked at way too many aerial photos to be happy about going and seeing family.  All anyone is able to talk about is the water.  It's going to be the suck.

Blue, I think it starts at $3 an hour more than I'm making now, BUT it's FT with benefits. I'm wary about it. I don't think the interview went well, and I'm worried that they're only testing me because they feel they have to. I don't know. I'm hoping I kick ass at this test (and everyone else who's taking it bombs) and it reinforces my abilities in their minds..

I have a BBQ to go to tomorrow with my FMIL and FBIL. FI's family is really sweet but FBIL's wife.. well.. I am going to have a hard time biting my tongue after the last few months events. *grumble*

Sunday I get to clean up the yard (hello allergy attack!) and prepare for a really good friend of mine coming down for that next weekend! I haven't seen her in years.

I saw Pirates last week but there were 6 children with their drunk parents in front of us being really loud so it was hard to enjoy.  And when I say the parents were drunk I mean wasted! Bottles clinking, alcohol smell, getting in/out of seat and talking loud.  But I digress...
