Why am I planning a wedding while in nursing school???

Oh, because I'm insane!

Okay ladies, I know there is the knot calendar and check off list, but I need advice from *actual* brides!

I've got the:
*menu
*dj/band
*venue
*photographer/videographer
*date
*colors
*centerpiece ideas

Need:
florist/decorator
favors (if we do it)
baker
officiant
wedding dress (have an idea)
BM dresses (have an idea)
GM tuxes
Grooms tux
Invites

What am I missing????? 
I don't live in a huge city so it's not....*that* vital to be booking things way, way out.  We have an idea on the florist and cake decorator.  We know who we are going through for invites, just haven't made it down to pick them out. 

Thanks for any advice and words of wisdom! 
PS: This is why I don't post very often. I just get on when I happen to have a free moment.  So you'll see me during winter break, spring break and summer and occasionally days thrown in randomly.

**EDIT** Also, when do we need to register?  The site says to start doing it now, as long as I do it before showers, etc?  It's not a big deal right???

Everyone does favors around here, but we always chuck ours in a drawer or in the trash post wedding.  I'm thinking I don't want them but some of the fam is saying they are necessary.  Unless it's food or alcohol, I don't care about favors at weddings. I'm never super excited to get some engraved matches.

Yeah we saw a bloody mary mix in little bottles we loved, but way too pricey for me.  Super cute, but I didn't want to pay $10 a favor.

Hey date twin!

Your list looks really thorough! We're going to be skipping favors. I never care for them and never notice if they aren't offered, so I don't really feel like spending money on something that seems kind of useless. Though I'd like an edible favor, for sure.

yeah!  Date twins!  Yeah, If I can eat it or drink it, count me in...otherwise...bleh.  I'm thinking we will skip it.
