So...as some of you know, my mom has Bipolar Disorder. She's been relatively good recently and has found things that will keep her more stable and what not and some hobbies that help her focus her energy on positive things.
My mom's main hobby is collecting Buttons - like these:
She has like 2,000 or something crazy. She literally stops people on the street and asks her for the button off of their backpack, shirt, whatever. It's embarrassing as all get out to me, but it makes her happy, so whatever.
Anyway, this weekend, she took about 400 of her buttons to her high school reunion - and about half were stolen. She's crushed and called me crying and now I'm on a mission to help her recoup the ones she lost, plus some.
If you happen to have any spare buttons laying around and are willing to send them to me, I would be eternally grateful. I know it's a long shot, I mean, who makes these buttons anymore?! But I figure it's worth a shot.
If you can help, I'll PM you my address (Remember, I moved so if you have my MS address, you'll need my new one).
