Have you ever been hospitalized? Why? Yes, when I was 6 weeks old I got menengitis and was hospitalized for a week or so.

When was your first kiss? My Sr. year of HS, I was 17. It was outside a movie theatre.

What was your favorite Christmas present received? My kitchen aid or my framed Audrey Hepburn picture

What was your favorite present given? Probably taking T to NYC,even though the trip was not so great.

Yes, for asthma-induced pneumonia my junior year of HS

When was your first kiss? 

I don't remember, probably 16? I hung out with a lot of guys as friends, and it could have been earlier, but obviously not memorable. 

What was your favorite Christmas present received?

A trip to Vegas in 2007, which included dinner at Le Cirque and front row seats to 3 Cirque shows. 

What was your favorite present given?

I suck at giving presents, but I will get better this year. My older sister is getting the Kitchenaid mixer that has been on her Amazon wishlist since 2005 for her MOH/Christmas present.  She's going to be so surprised. My younger sister is getting a GPS, so that no matter where her adventures take her, she can find her way home. this will be her 21st Bday/MOH/Xmas present.

Have you ever been hospitalized? Why? Yes... I had my very very broken arm set in the OR when I was 13.  Very broken arm.

When was your first kiss? I was 12.  I said it was fun, but I thought it was kinda weird/yucky.  Neither of us had any "technique," obviously.

What was your favorite Christmas present received? My grandmother's engagement ring.  She gave it to me because I loved it for years.  My fiance gave it to me as my engagement ring a year later.

What was your favorite present given? I put a lot of thought into gifts so all of them

Have you ever been hospitalized? Why? Nope. Worst I've had *knock on wood* is wisdom teeth surgery. I was almost taken to the hospital when I passed out after the hammock fall though.

When was your first kiss?  16 officially but it sucked, 17 was the first one I really think counts

What was your favorite Christmas present received? H moving to VA from Maine, after having moved from VA to Maine 3 months earlier.

What was your favorite present given? H's drill he's getting this year

Have you ever been hospitalized? Why? Yes twice
the first time, I fell and hit my head on our brick floor (6th grade) and black out/started convulsing.  I was rushed via ambulance to the hospital and stayed overnight for observation.  They took an xray of my teddy bear and gave me a diagnosis- I still have the xray.  But all I remember was crying because I had to miss my very first final ever. I was such a nerd

the 2nd time was to have my ACL repaired.

When was your first kiss? Summer after my senior year of HS. ugh it sucked too!

What was your favorite Christmas present received? My mom and dad made a cook book of all the family recipes and throughout the book are pictures of the family starting from when mom and dad were married up to that Christmas.  Best present hands down.

What was your favorite present given? oh gosh I love giving presents.   One of the most memorable presents I gave was the first b-day present I gave to FI.  It was a lego set of the Boeing 767.  He is an aerospace enginerd and a kid at heart.  He still loves that thing.

  A few times.  I have a horrible habit of getting in over my head.

When was your first kiss?
  at age 5 with my neighbor.  Neither of us were impressed with it.

What was your favorite Christmas present received?
  a cashmere sweater.  I was impressed that he bought it without female guidance and it was perfect in fit, color, and warmth.  It was while we were dating.  i figured he must love me if he was willing to shop in Macy's.  He's very anti-mall.

What was your favorite present given?
  a fancy wood compass to my then Fi.  So he could always find his way back to me.   i wrote a poem and had it engraved on it.

Have you ever been hospitalized? Yes Why? I was hit by a car at the age of 8. And then when I had my son.

When was your first kiss? I dont remember, maybe 12. I had a party at my house.

What was your favorite Christmas present received?  Wow, I dont know.

What was your favorite present given?  The clock I went through a lot of trouble to get DH. And the picture I had blown up and custom framed from our trip to Hawaii.

When was your first kiss? 13 during a game of spin-the-phone, I was SO nervous and kept making up excuses about why the spin didn't count but I eventually gave into peer pressure and kissed the boy!

What was your favorite Christmas present received?
The sterling silver bookmark DH gave me two years ago. He is kind of funny about gift-giving, he gets so anxious about finding the perfect gift and I was definitely not expecting the bookmark. It was very personal and absolutely perfect because I read all the time. He then got me an even nicer, engraved bookmark for my wedding gift. I love it.

What was your favorite present given?
The gift I gave DH for our wedding: A journal I had been keeping throughout our engagement, a little keepsake of the last months of being Miss and Mr. before becoming Mr. & Mrs.

I know my first kiss was Jan 29th, 2005 because my friends all celebrated it haha first kisses were a biiig deal with us.

Have you ever been hospitalized? Why? Yes. Once for a dislocated shoulder, one for facial surgery and twice for knee surgery.

When was your first kiss? I think it was at my 13th birthday party. We were playing spin the bottle and it was with one of my guy friends. It was weird.

What was your favorite Christmas present received? The necklace H got me last year was pretty awesome. It's from the local jeweler when he got my wedding ring. It's 3 teardrop shapes, one inside the other, with 3 diamonds at the bottom of each teardrop. He picked it out all by himself. When he gave it to me, he said "I hope these are the only tears I ever give you." Of course, then I started crying.

What was your favorite present given? Our family dog had puppies, and I knew H wanted one. So I picked one out and gave her to him at Easter. She's now like our child and H loves her so much.

Have you ever been hospitalized? Why? When I was little I had seizures, so I was in the hospital for that. Last year I had outpatient surgery on a cyst on my throat. That was weird.

When was your first kiss? I was sixteen. I was one of the last of my friends to get a boyfriend. We were on a double date with my best friend (at the time) and her boyfriend. It was at the end on Rush Hour 2... super romantic movie, I know.

What was your favorite Christmas present received? My down comforter and Egyptian cotton sheets! We do a name exchange on Thanksgiving and we just buy for one person.  We have a limit of $30, but one of my uncles goes overboard (I think he feels guilty for not being around much since he lives out of state). So a couple years back he drew my name and got me the very nicest of everything on my list

What was your favorite present given? I haven't given it yet, but I want to get FI something signed by Angus Young from AC/DC for the wedding. He loves AC/DC so much he wants our entrance to the reception to be "Thunderstruck".

Thats funny you told no one. I think because we were all older it was a huge deal. 2 of my BFF's at the time got me a little card (or something) after they found out.
Then this one day, when I was supposed to hangout with my crush my 1 friend have me anote a hershey kiss for my first kiss. Yes, we were so silly.

Have you ever been hospitalized? Why?  Childbirth, twice.

When was your first kiss? In front of the Vons supermarket with a boy named Tad.  We were 14 and it was very sweet.

What was your favorite Christmas present received?  Hmmmm.  Have to think about this one.

What was your favorite present given?  When I was about 13 or 14 I saved up and bought my Dad a bicycle so we could ride around the neighborhood together.  He had always made Christmas and birthdays so special, I wanted to give him a big surprise.  He loved it.

Have you ever been hospitalized? Why?
I went to the ER for pneumonia once when I was 6, and had a temp of 106.6. They were going to hospitalize me but luckily they got the fever down. Other than that, I think I was hospitalized as a baby with an eye issue but I don't remember it.

When was your first kiss?
I was 13, at the movies with a guy on our first date. It was okay, but the guy ended up telling his friends that I did some disgusting things in the theater, and that rumor followed me through high school. And of course, the more you deny something, the more people think you're a whore. So I don't look back on that first kiss fondly.

What was your favorite Christmas present received?
I love all my gifts, especially those from my mom because she just gets me, and always knows just what I want or need. I think this year's gift will be the best since it is sending H and I do Disney. I'm so excited and I think we're going to get tickets to see La Nouba. I've seen it twice but H never has.

What was your favorite present given?
I gave my dad a calendar of family pictures that made him cry. I loved that he loved it so much. Last year I painted a picture of a lighthouse for my mom that made her teary.

When was your first kiss? I was 13, and it was with a boy that was my neighbor from age 1 to 9.

What was your favorite Christmas present received? As a child, would have to be a doll house I had gotten. As an adult- my laptop :-)

What was your favorite present given? When I went on a shopping spree for my niece and nephew, was able to give them a Christmas, said some gifts were from their parents and some were from me. There were a bit of presents but just being able to do that makes me happy and unexplainable. 

Edit- I love giving presents when I can manage to, I go all out. Sometimes too much. Outside Christmas giving a friend a baby shower which was from me only but I bought her tons of baby stuff big and small. Buying those extra special things that a person can use or have for a long time. I got my best friend a 3 in 1 crib when she had her 2nd baby, she now uses it for her 3rd.  It's just really a great feeling knowing I can provide something that lets people use things over and over or keep for a long time. I always am happy to make those around me happy.

Have you ever been hospitalized? Why?  Yes, I was young though.  Not sure what it was.  Probably pneumonia or something.

When was your first kiss? 8th grade, with Ben, at a school dance.

What was your favorite Christmas present received? Last year, Ben's folks gave us round trip plane tickets to see my family in California - we weren't engaged yet but we were talking marriage at that time.  I knew at that moment that I was marrying into an amazing family.

What was your favorite present given?Hmm... well, I can't really think of any ONE thing, but everything I've bought for Ben, he wears all the time or uses very often.  It makes me feel good I bought my grandpa in California a birdhouse a few years ago - I was excited for him to open that, too, because he really loves birds.

A few times. Tonsils taken out when I was 6. Stung by a bee when I was in 6th Grade - Found out that I was deathly allergic to bee stings then. Broke my knee about 4 years ago, and hen my "fainting disorder" about 3 years ago.

When was your first kiss?
6th Grade. Big jerk.

What was your favorite Christmas present received?
My dining room table. My dad got it at this little store where he lives. It's gorgeous, bistro table height..

What was your favorite present given?
I like all the presents I've given.

I had an appendectomy a few years ago and was in the hospital for a day.

I was 15, and it was very unexpected.  He just planted it on me and I wasn't very happy about it!

My engagement ring.

This one is hard to answer.  The one that sticks out in my mind right now is the tv I got H for his birthday this year.  He has been wanting a new tv for YEARS and was ecstatic to get a new one.  He still tells me how much he loves it and it's been over 4 months.

No.  Unless you count the short time I spent in the hospital getting a cast put on when I broke my arm in 5th grade.

When was your first kiss?
Kindergarten with my best friend, Benny.  I wonder what happened to him.

What was your favorite Christmas present received?
Probably the time FI came out to visit for Christmas and we go tto actually spend the holiday together for the first time.  Otherwise, if it has to be an object, he gave me a beautiful crystal heart from Baxter. 

 What was your favorite present given?
I gave FI satelite radio one year and he loved it.  He was surprised.  But I try to put a lot of thought into each gift to make sure it's practical and thoughtful.

Have you ever been hospitalized? Why? Many, many a time, starting when I was 3 months old. Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis, growths on my vocal folds, cuts off airway, would suffocate me slowly without surgery. Usually I wasn't required to stay overnight though.

When was your first kiss? Thursday, December 11th, 2003 at 8:58pm.

What was your favorite Christmas present received? Mmm, probably my first laptop. I loved that thing.

What was your favorite present given? Heh...I may have not ever actually given a present that was entirely my own to give.

Just a few ER visits--all stomach-related issues. I've never been admitted.

When was your first kiss?
2nd grade on a snowday from school. It was with tongue and really, really gross. He had bad breath.

What was your favorite Christmas present received?
My She-Ra castle and Apple IIC when I was a kid. As an adult, my engagement ring and the heirloom diamond necklace from the ILs as a Christmas/Wedding gift

What was your favorite present given?
I'm pretty good at giving gifts, but I think J is gonna love the screenprint T-shirt I'm having made for him with one of his favorite heavy metal artists on it and a quote from him that he always says and we have an inside joke over.

Only to have my wisdom teeth pulled... on my 16th birthday. Thanks mom. (yes I am still bitter about this. I took my driving test all high on vicodin and do not remember ANY of it. Although I passed with flying colors.)
When was your first kiss? 
I was 16. My friend, Biff Gas (yes, his REAL name) rented a limo for his birthday. My two friends were there and we were the only 3 girls out of like a gagillion boys. They knew I had never been kissed and they told one of the boys that they would make out if he tongue kissed me. They did, he did. When I got home I ran into my sisters room and cried because I wasted it on a boy whose name I didnt know. 
What was your favorite Christmas present received?
Well, My birthday is really close to Christmas so basically ALL of my birthday/ Christmas gifts are tagalong gifts. So, FI proposing to me with a beautious ring. 
What was your favorite present given?

I did an awesome 'just because' painted tin picture for FI. The one and only good gift I have ever given.

Hehe, I figured.  Just teasing.

But yeah, I got my freak on early in the playground (and by freak I mean kissing and holding hands until the nuns yelled at us and instilled a "healthy" fear of sexuality).
