Snarky Brides

Have you heard of...

I was thinking of the post recently me and LC were talking about the computer game "Treasure mountain" we used to play and now I'm curious about some other things I love and whether anyones heard of them. Add your own as well...

The Brenden Leonard show(circa 2003 ish?), did anyone watch this??
How about O'grady (circa 2005)? Anyone seen that?

Re: Have you heard of...

  • Oh Lord, girl, you're talking about the "dark years" for me!

But, to answer your question, no, I don't remember them.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • No :(  What kind of shows were they?
  • nope. What channel were they on. If it was anything kid oriented, then definitely no.

and O'grady was a silly animated show on The N
  • Nope.

But I miss The Black Donnelys.  I loved that show.

I think this is still on! When I used to visit FI, it was on some channel he had (not a porn channel, lol).  She was talking to some dad about his kid and how the kid was too vigorous when he was...having alone time.
  • Sue was hilarious. As was Dr. Ruth. I even remember listening to Dr. Drew when he did sex advice, not rehab. I forget the name of the show, but it was on MTV, which I didn't have until college (97-01)

  • Yeaaaa,  they were kind of kid/ teen shows. I was in Hs then afterall.
  • I got to meet Dr Ruth! She was giving a talk at my college and I ran into her in the restroom before her speech. She was so awesome.
  • Sarah- Loveline? I remember listening to that on the radio!

I remember this, too.  I had to listen to it with headphones on because some of the calls were a little "racy".  :)

<div>Just like I had to sneak it when I watched Singled Out on MTV. haha</div>
  • That's what it was.. Loveline. I am a morning person so I was rarely ever up late enough to see it, but it was hilarious. People asked some of the craziest stuff, but it was pre-Google, so I guess you had to call in to get some answers.

  • YES I remember Treasure Mountain!!! It ran on DOS computers and then they made a bunch of educational spin off games of it too. Is that the one you're thinking of or were you refering to the one with Goofy from Disney?

And yes, Dr. Sue is still on - we used to watch it at FI's apartment because it would freak out his roommate's (now) ex.
