Good Morning! We fly out day after tomorrow, woohoo!

I'm seriously considering taking tomorrow off work. I don't know what I was thinking when I didn't ask for Friday off when we fly out on Saturday. I just hope they're not pissed that I waited till the day before to ask for it, but in my defense, I didn't know that Will would be working late all this week, so not only do I have to do laundry and pack for myself, but I'm helping him pack, too.

I finished our seating chart and escort cards last night. Will the Groomzilla didn't like my setup with the long head table (he said it made us look like we were British royalty from the 1500s) so I had to nix that idea, create a sweetheart table and re-seat everyone at the round tables. I now have 5 spare black silk rectangle tablecloths. I'm sure we'll find some use for them.

Oh Mehg- I don't envy you right now. I hated all that last minute crap, and the seating chart was the worst part. For sure.

I did not sleep at all last night.  My allergies are completely out of control.  It's insane.  They've been kind of bad the past few weeks, but all of a sudden last night BAM.  When I took the dog out this morning, though, I noticed that all the crab apple trees or whatever are in full bloom.  Those are usually the things that make me suffer the worst. grrr

And Steph, the escort cards/seating chart were actually pretty simple once we both were able to agree on what we wanted. I'm glad I had his input on that one. He was like "Just make sure all the Mexicans and white people are mixed together. I went to a wedding once where all the white people were up front and it was really awkward." I just wish I hadn't taken so long to finish it up last night. As it was, I didn't finish till just before bed, so as I was trying desperately to fall asleep (which took about 2 hours) I had all these names and table numbers swirling around in my head. It feels good that it's done now, though.

Oh and I had a BM drop out last night. She just found out she's about 8 weeks pregnant and she's been projectile vomiting the last week or so, and she doesn't want to risk making the trip from where she lives and everything, just to wind up having to lay down in a hotel room the whole time she's there.

Megh you're so close!!!  I hated all of that seating chart crap.  We had people adding themselves to our guest list during the final week and I must have changed that stupid seating chart 16 times before it went to print.

Raynes- #1- You're right, Leukemia is THE SUCK!  My thoughts are with you right now, I know it's tough (Amanda has been gone just over a month now)  #2- I found out my BM has been losing all sorts of weigh while...wait for it... eating 500 calories a day and taking this Amazing supplement.  *headdesk*  Her chiropractor suggested it to her.  I gently tried to tell her that it's not good to do, but she's seeing results, so I was talking to a brick wall.  :-(

Today's the day most of the OOT people show up!  Woot woot!  We head for the airport to pick up FI's son and maybe son's girlfriend.  She's iffy about coming.  Whatever.

Have a wonderful day all, and if I don't get back again today, it's not for lack of love for you, it's for lack of time and sense.

P.S.  I've had a neck pain now for 4 days, massage hasn't really helped.  Here's hoping it'll give up and let me be!!!

Day one of having the dog full time. She'll be alone for 5 ours, but she was an apartment dog before we got her, so I think she'll be ok.

Raynes- I'm so sorry. My aunt had leukemia, too. It was terrible, and no one should have to go through that, especially someone that young. You and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I think its bad in MN this year, mine haven't been this bad ever. Im on 3 different meds for my allergies. :( I feel you on the no sleep I woke up a few times last night too.

So sorry to hear that Raynes Cancer is so unfair.  I'm subscribed to a caringbridge site for this girl that lives kinda by where I grew up, she's 16 and dying of cancer.  Her make-a-wish was to go to prom (she was too young) and she went.  The updates are so awful.

Aaaaaaaaaanyway.  I've been a downer lately too, so, try not too feel too bad.  It's okay to be sad when things are shitty.

In other (TMI gross) news, Lucy woke up in the middle of the night last night, in the first time in forever, and left a steaming pile of shiit on the floor.  I made Ben clean it up.

Besides whining about water issues that's pretty much all I have to report.

Uggggggghhhh, I just got done doing a hurricane drill. They made us pull about a bajillion of these plywood shutters out of a storage space (spiders!!!!!!!) and place them with the corresponding windows that they're numbered for. We had to do this on two floors in our building, with about 30 rooms with 5 windows per room on each floor.

I'm now sweating like a whore in church, and have about a dozen splinters to remove.

Not only that, but I managed to drop the corner of a 5' x 3' plywood shutter on the bunion on my right foot (it developed due to going en pointe in ballet when I was younger). I almost passed out it hurt so bad.

It's like they know I start vacation tomorrow and are trying to suck as much work out of me as they can before the end of today.
