The only interaction I have with Google docs is when people send things to me (usually press releases meeting minutes) and they are attached as Google docs.
I hate Google docs. I loathe Google docs. I wish Google docs would drive itself off a cliff and DIE.
Vegas- we're also using it for all the wedding stuff (which is shared with my parents.) Works really well.
There has to be a way to do it... maybe I'm calling it the wrong thing. I started off with a wedding template thing, and there is a 'page break' on one of the sheets. So it has to be possible.
Someone in that first thread did have a workaround:
"My workaround is to insert a blank row/column where I want the page break and then resize it as necessary to achieve the page break that I want. Now the problem is jumping back and forth to the PDF to check it."
Hmmm. So it's not really a page break; I couldn't care less about how it prints.
There's a little break thing that separates a few columns from the rest. I have a little "total" thing for RSVP status. I want to be able to add rows, delete rows, and sort.... without including the last line. (That's how it works in the other spreadsheet.) I wonder if it's just a header/footer?
Oh, got it, yeah that's not a page break. I think it's a locked row or column.
So, for example, you want a running formula at the bottom of your rsvp list that is always visible, or do you just want it to always count the correct number of rows even if you insert rows but you're ok with having to scroll down to see it?
I have to use Google Docs for one of my grad classes and it makes me want to pull my hair out and jump out of the window, not necessarily in that order.

I checked a few other posts and thre are a lot of threads in googles forums about no page breaks in spreadsheets:
