I had the top bunk and it hurt to climb the ladder, so my bunkmate had to switch with me. I had to wear the nurses' shoes because the pairs I had with me rubbed against the bites around my ankles. Aw man, that sucks, I'm sorry to hear it. My H is a brass player too, bass trombone to be specific. We met on grad school, I'm working on a masters in musicology, he finished a doctorate in bass trombone performance last year. We are both starving musicians, LOL.

I always get eaten alive by bugs, regardless of bug spray.  I had poison ivy/oak once, and it was only in one spot on my armpit.  It never spread anywhere else.  I have a scar, still.  So weird.

Good man. Love the low brass players. Though I am very jealous of your piano skills. My dad begged me to take piano lessons as a young kid. I refused because "I hate music!!!". Then of course I got to college and that bit me in the ass.

<div>I'm late to things as usual, but this is me.  Bugs love me feet in particular so that's pretty brutal.  A few weekends ago I had close to 20 bites on the tops and sides of my feet.  Any footwear besides flip flops was pretty much near impossible to pull off.</div><div>
