Since I'm semi-clueless about this...

FI's cousin just gave birth to twin baby girls in late December, and will most likely be bringing them to the wedding, and I'm not sure what to do for seating arrangements for the two of them. They are teeny, since they were premies, and I'm not sure they will be sitting up in a high chair by the end of April. Is it my responsibility to provide them with a high chair, or is it the parent's responsibility to deal with it? FI says that its their responsibility, we aren't providing diapers for them, and that they'll probably be held by most of the guests anyways, since it will be the first time most of the family has seen them since they were born, so most likely the high chairs wouldn't even be used much. Opinions?

I think I'm with your FI.  I'd just let them figure it out.

But this comes from someone who didn't do a seating chart for her wedding, lol.

ETA - Can't you just leave the regular chairs open for them?  Since they're so little they'd probably just want to seat their carseats next to them on the chairs anyway.

I'd just ask them their preferences TBH.  Providing a high chair is no different than providing a regular chair for an adult.  Providing high chair =/= providing diapers.

I dont think they will be sitting in high chairs in April, but I would still ask if they need anything. At 4 months and being preemies they most likely will have to be held.

ETA: AATB's idea seems best, they will most likely have their babyseats.

I bet they end up bringing their car seats in.  I would maybe call the venue to see if they have high chairs available and go from there.

I agree that the parents will figure it out - they'll probably still be in their buckets anyway.  I'd leave them spaces at the table so other guests aren't crowded though.

wow.  High chairs.  I never even thought about this, but will probably need to find a couple for our wedding.

OP, I would think at 4 months they would probably still be chillin in their car seats, especially since they were preemies.  I'd do as PP suggested and leave spaces at the table for them so nobody gets crowded.
