Rhon, boo, I hate those days.  Yesterday I had all these essays to grade, but I had the worst headache and cramps.  I just cuddled on my couch and watched The Big Bang Theory, but then I had to get up extra early today to have enough time to finish them. Effing work.

Nothing much at all. Just got back from dinner, we had BBQ. It seems slow around the boards lately. That, or I suck at starting night threads. I'm working on homework.

Curriculum and Education. I should've specialized more, but oh well. I have three free classes that I earned from taking some work professional development courses, maybe I'll start a 3rd degree ;)

I am finishing up at work, I have been training for my new position all week. So I miss my normal work while gone. It also cuts into my TK time, how dare they!

FI and I need to figure out which church we are going to tonight. Dinner will be something meatless while watching modern family.

I decided to work on our budget tonight to map out the following months, with the intention of finguring out our finances between now and when I potentially get laid off. I had to cancel going to my friends b-party, but there is a shower and 2 weddings coming up I have to go to and its really going to eat into things. I love my friends but blah. It basically just made me all sad and depressed.

But, I had some wicked cheesy scrambled eggs for dinner and they were delightful.

Haha for sure.

IT'S SO AWESOME. The kids are eating it up. We finished part 2 today, and when Peeta admits to liking Katniss, you can literally hear gasps. And when they asked when we're starting the next chapter (next Tuesday) there were many groans. I love it! And we're doing activities that fit in so perfectly with my standards.

Its probable. The way it was phrased to me that was about how long they could afford me without the department I am in generating sales (sales guy is done march 31st) and conceivably still have work for me. Unless something happens within the company that magically makes another position appear for me, its probably happening.

I love when that happens!  My one class is going to start That Was Then, This Is Now and we had an awesome conversation about friendships and to what degree do we owe loyalty to our friends. I can't wait to start reading tomorrow.

Nebb, budgets are the devil.  Well, figuring them out and sticking to them are. When you save money because of them, they're great, but most of the time, I hate them.

Duds - You play Settlers with only two people?  I feel like that would make the trading aspect harder.  

Edit - DH and I like Farkle as a fun game for two.  It is a dice game, so we bring it with us when traveling too.

We love board games. We bought this one, Wits and Wagers, where you're given a question and you have to guess a numerical amount (date or money, etc).  Then you get to bet on who you think is the closest. You don't have to actually know anything, so it's a lot of fun.

Nebb, I'm sorry to hear that abotu the job.

Duds, I love Settlers. I find it difficult to play with two people. Have you ever played Ticket to Ride? I really like that game and it's much less intense than Settlers.

Ah, its ok I suppose. If anything its really giving me the kick in the butt I needed to start really working on paying the debt off (harder than we were before). I love where I work and I love what I am (was) doing, so Im sad, but I suppose there are positives if you really look for it. Thanks guys Atleast I have another 3 solid months and if they do lay me off theyve promised to give me a months notice.

Nates - I love Wits and Wagers!  It is a favorite for game night with friends.  Dixit is another group one that we like (reminds me of Balderdash only with pictures)

Ive had the game of things on my list of games I want, but I cant really figure out WHY I wanted it anymore lol. I also want scribblish.

Speaking of games, Whitsy and Linds, I have a few downloadable classroom games--Family Feud, Jeopardy (I forget what else)--if you guys like to use those.

Baby is good!  DH just gave him a bath and now we are all relaxing.  He is a good eater and good sleeper.  He often will sleep for 4 hour stretches - not bad for a 2 week old!

Family Feud is easier to put together at the last minute, too.  I got it from one of the classroom stuff mags.  I'll send it tomorrow from work.
