Spark People?

Ok. I just signed up for this... any tips?  I'm still just feeling my way around the site, but what are the best features, etc.?

I signed up on there about a thousand years ago...don't track there much, but I love the recipe section and still use it a lot. :-) There are some really good ones.

I have been a member for a few years now. My favorite features are the nutrition part, and the exercise tracker. Look me up,and add me if you have any questions.

I was using Spark People for a while, but now I'm using FatSecret. It's basically the same thing.

The only reason I switched is because FatSecret has a Droid app.

I think SP has an app for iphone. When I got my phone they didn't have an Droid app at that time but maybe they do now. I'll have to check.

I have the Motorola Driod. The one with the slide out keyboard. I have to have a slide out keyboard. My fingers don't play nice with the touch screen keyboards. Bad, bad fingers.

I love the nutrition tracker and fitness tracker. Sometimes it helps to see that you've worked out a lot when you feel like you haven't done anything, or the other way around.

I also really love the different teams, though they aren't as active as I would like them to be. I really like reading the coach's blogs and articles.

SP has an iPhone app and I love it. I've been on SP since like 2007, on and off. Katie, KD, NS, Jelique and I are all on there. My sn is quite different, though, so you have to look at the pictures

I love the tracker, the way you can copy a meal to the next day. I also love that you can use sparkrecipes to enter your favorite recipes, save them, and then import them into your SP log. It really helps me with portion control when I am cooking since I don't have to guess on how much of everything is in my portion. 

I also like the fitness tracker feature. I'm not so much into competeing with other people, but it is nice to know that I can make my food and exercise logs public, because it gives me the perception of public accountability.
