Hi!

I registered a while back and have lurked about on the boards off and on, but lately work has been pretty boring and slow, so I've been indulging in my need to troll and randomly post on forums.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and hope to chat more with of you all soon!

    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

    Wedding will be 8-11-11 in Berkeley, CA (my hometown and where I went to college, the campus is a block away from the venue).  The venue is a 1930's building designed by Julia Morgan, which is a private club and also a B&B with period furniture (ohhhh I love vintage furniture and own quite a bit!) and rather gothic architecture.

    There's not really a specific theme for our wedding, we are going for classy and elegant (within our budget of course).  I'm thinking of working with the florist on bringing in the bajillions of peacock feathers I have into the floral arrangements and the boutonnieres, etc.  I used to ride horses at a barn that had a herd of peacocks and over the years collected an enormous bouquet which is in a vase over my fireplace.

    Favorite day of the week is Sunday because it's the only day FI and I both have off, so we get to spend the whole day together.  :)

    I don't drink coffee very often anymore but when I do, I usually buy it from Peet's.

    Zoysiagrass.

    We own 3 dogs, rottie mixes we got from the pound and a rescue foundation.  We also have 4 cats.

    Well, as trolls go, I like to think I'm a pretty friendly and attractive one.  I won't even charge you when you cross my bridge.  :)

    FI and I met in 2003 but didn't start dating till 2005.  We met through mutual friends and then connected again through a different mutual friend.  Interestingly, we don't talk to most of these people anymore and only one will be invited to the wedding.

    My hair is long (to my waist).  It's my one vanity these days.

    My favorite color is gray.

    I don't drive much these days, I usually take public transit to work and when FI and I go somewhere he usually drives.  We have a 1990 Acura Integra ("his car") and a 1993 Ford Explorer ("my car").  I've driven the Explorer exactly twice since we bought it and it currently lives in the garage.  I wouldn't have gotten it except we needed a second vehicle with more than two doors for lugging family and dogs around.

    Dream job would be working with youth and families- not sure yet if this means I will be working for the government but probably, since I have a lot to say about how they could improve what they are doing so that the kids are more successful.

    Stickers are ok but I don't use them much.

    Yes.

    Too many favorites to list, although if it helps I think the last CD I actively listened to was Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and the song I've had stuck in my head all week is the chocobo music from Final Fantasy 13.

    Christmas.  I love giving presents I know people will love as much as I love getting presents.

    Don't remember much of my childhood, to be honest.  That might be a good thing.

    My wrist kinda hurts.

    I love the Simpsons and actually remember watching them on the Tracey Ullman show before they had their own show, although I haven't gone out of my way to watch the Simpsons in a long time.

    I don't really think you suck, FTR (in case you thought that me saying that you sucks means I ACTUALLY think you suck).  I just like when newbs have the cojones to say who they like and don't like :)
