  • Mara, this one's for you:

  • This is not an ERMAHGERD but I thought some of you may enjoy it after reading zombie talk before in posts.

  • Kdj she was the girl who was teased in the little princess. It's a cute movie (and book). And yes, four days! It seems surreal.

Me, too. Summer tv blows.  Plus, I am all sorts of confused during the first episode because they've been on hiatus so long. COME BACK, DARYL.

Still have no clue who that is, but I'm older it may have been something that came in my later years.

    Make sure you AW lady!

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: NUGGET NUGGET NUGGET : Mochie- Love your animals. H and I met on Match.com too. Quite a few of us here did. With a few of those weird EHarmony people sprinkled in.

KD- Nice to hear quite a few people on here met their husbands on Match. I feel like in the real world when you say you met on match some people are like, "Really!?!". Most people seem to not care but some people are weird about it. I tried EHarmony during one of the free communication weekends (I was not going pay that much to join) and was not a fan. To each their own I guess.

I think the book was early 1900's? But the movie is definitely "newer."

My aw probably won't be for awhile after though, photog just moved so my e pics took forever! Hopefully there will be some sneak peaks or something though!
  • I met my husband in middle school but I've met lots of very good friends online... :) It's not so weird that people can meet and making lasting connections on the interwebs.

  • H and I met online, but not through a dating site. People are all "OMG HE COULD HAVE BEEN A KILLER!!!" when I tell them. We've pretty much gotten used to it, but it was embarrassing at first. I feel you, Mochie.
  • Last weekend we went to a knottiest wedding and FI had his guard up (not even our first gtg) but he loosened up and had a great time, and was happy no one was an "axe murderer" lol. Hundreds of years ago you wouldn't have had the opportunity to marry someone from a different town or area as you, times change!

That's the most common question I get, "How did you know he wasn't psycho or something?". Because I'm not stupid. Those people asking that question seem not to understand that you talk before you actually meet and you can usually tell if someone is a creeper from online if you talk enough.

  • Sometimes I'll respond, "Yeah, I had a death wish, but ended up with a husband instead!" That usually throws them.  H and I spoke for a good five months before I even went out there to meet him--I was pretty sure he was normal, lol.

Now that more and more people use the internet to meet people, it's becoming less of an issue.

Agreed. With the Match.com commercials lately the majority of people seem to be responding with "Yeah I heard on that commercial it is becoming a lot more common".

  • Time to go to dance class with the FI (So I don't look like an idiot at the wedding).

    Be back later.

  • Yeah, I got DH online (eHarmony), and I got all of you online too.  Seems to be ok so far!

It's like you ordered him and us.  Perfect!
  • ERMAHGERD!!

I totally send that picture to Noodle yesterday and he called me all "WTF?"  I told him to pronounce it, and he did, and then he paused and started snickering.

  • <3<3 Sesh. Thank you. That made my day.
  • First post here, and OH GOD I HAVE FOUND MY PEOPLE. Please welcome me, as I live with my FMIL, am getting married next year, and am FSIL's MOH this autumn. I finally understand why people use those dumb abbreviations now. It's that nobody really has to understand, you just feel saying saying stuff about it. Here you go, uneducateds. :) This girl never fails to crack me up. http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/ermahgerd
