Re: Dexter

  • I LOVE Dexter!  I watched the very first episode a while ago, but I don't have showtime, so I had kinda forgotten about it.  Then hello netflix.  I watched season 4 first, then went back and I've finished season 1 and am a few episodes into season 2...trying to catch up before season 5 starts.

Also, It's kind of wierd to watch Deb and Dexter play brother and sister...all I can think about is that when they leave the set, they probably go home and do it...LOL

Its something about her mouth that just makes me cringe. Her character does have a bit of a daddy complex, so I could see her going to Lundy. However, I didn't see any real chemistry portrayed there.  It freaks me out to know that Dexter is married to weird mouthed Deb in real life. He could do so much better.

Her lips seem somewhat too thin for her teeth or chin structure.  I mean she's really pretty but yes her mouth bothers me.

I agree.. her face bothers me too.
  • We are watching Dexter now on DVD; it is a fave show, we both adore Dexter, hate Rita and can't imagine sleeping with Lundy.
And yes, we know how the story will turn out, I saw it on SomethingAwful and he didn't want to wait to know. We're watching it with baited breath anyways, john Lithgow is freaking unreal good in this. (My fave thing is when he got an emmy for Trinity and he thanked HBO instead of Showtime--he said "I'll never live this down").
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, WHOA. Lois, this is not my Batman glass."
  • We are hooked on Dexter too.  We have two episodes left in season four though.  We were stretching them out to make it through until the new season started.  Wine, cheese, and Dexter nights are one of our favorites.
