Tell me

If you were to go on THE interview of a lifetime how would you dress?

Re: Tell me

  • I have a hot Navy blue fitted suit that has a very delicate pinstripe.  The pinstripe is actually a light pink.  I'd match it with this lovely light pink raw silk Italian sling backs that have tan fathers at the toes.
  • Aprove, I love you.

I would wear a black skirt, black nylons and pumps, and a red shirt. I've always heard that red gets you noticed. I used to wear it to auditions as well.

    What's the job Ricks?

  • Slutty.

Depends.  I interview people everyday.  I assume this is a job interview?

  • I am going for pre-select along with four other nutrition students for an internship spot. The interview is in Jan. I want to look my best so I want to spend some money on something nice/appropriate.

There are only 16 spots in the internship. We get the first chance to be interviewed/chosen.

Love your new siggy picture.  Yay for you being pre-selected for interviews!! I'd get a nice suit.  Either dress pants of a pencil skirt.  I'm a weirdo that I love fashion enough that I like to spice up the basics but I know plenty of people who aren't comfy doing that.
  • TY Aprove!

  • Wear a nice black suit with a bright top underneath.  And fun jewelry?  I dunno.  I suck.

I like your new photo too!

  • You will do fantastic Ricks! And I love your new picture.

  • TY girls! :) I may find some stuff when the time gets closer and see what y'all think.

  • I would go out and buy the suit/shoes Aprov described. Or a similar suit that fits really great.

I also love the new sig pic.

  • TY CO!  I am def. going to look for what Aprove described.

  • I would wear a suit that was dark gray (I'm pale so black washes me out) with some bitchin' black shoes and some kind of cute top underneath.  Sorry I'm not very helpful.

  • I went to an interview "sometime recently in the past" and I wore a black fitted pin-striped suit with a blue sleeveless shirt inside, with pair of open toed pumps.

I debated on wearing pink versus blue, but for the job, which is in engineering, I went with blue, because I figured it's not as girly, and like it!

I got an offer, but am debating on what I have now is better than what they are offering...

  • I'd go for a black skirt suit with a pop of saturated color in the shirt. Pair with a coordinating handbag and black shoes. Not too busy, but not too drab either.

  • I'd go with the dark overall color (I personally wear pants, to cover my tattoo, since I never know how my interviewer feels about them), pop of color in the shirt, and a coordinated jacket - not necessarily matched. And I carry a small bag with my cell OFF, car keys, gum or mints, kleenex, wallet, and a couple of pens. No more.

Which for me, is major. Hah.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
