Im talking to a guy friend of mine who just recently dumped his live in girlfriend of 9 years (they broke up at the end of june). I knew he got a new girlfriend but theyre apparently planning to start looking to buy a house together within the next month. I have to say I feel REALLY bad for the X even though I never met her.

One of my BMs calls me up a few mins ago to whine about her bf.  She is a beautiful, witty, smart girl with a good job, and her bf is a charming freeloader who lives with her, pays no rent, and spends weekends either snowboarding in VT or out on boats with friends.  She doesn't snowboard and she gets horribly seasick, so he basically ditches her every weekend.  She also gets up at 5am every day for her job, and he stays out all night at bars.

I love her.  I can't understand why she stays with him, and it's infuriating to me because she deserves so. much. better.

I have a friend who alternately bitches about her pregnancy and her food stamps in her facebook status updates. I confess that I judge them for getting pregnant again when they can't afford the feed the child they already have.

I know this girl that moved to Miami with this guy and a bunch of other people. She and the guy were dating, but when they got to Miami, he started hooking up with all of these skanky girls. These other girls wrote her a note to tell her about it and now they both have some weird STD that makes them grow balls on the sides of their faces. Weird.

My SIL is up to something again. 800$ was withdrawn out of her account one night and she claimed to not know how that happened. Her rent was due the next week so my IL's paid it for her. Since then, she has done nothing to pursue how that happened with the bank or to investigate where the money went, so its pretty likely she is into something again. Its always something with her.

I know Cew. The messed up thing is she used to dance and got messed up on pain pills. He asked her to quit and go get help. She did and then got offered a great job b/c she has a computer technology degree she recieved before she started dancing. So while she is at work or anyway on business, he cheats. It's gross.

My sister's teenager is pregnant, so she went through some accelerated course this summer and graduated HS, and they are moving across the country and my sister is raising her grandchild as her own. They are not telling the boy who knocked her daughter up. It's all very 1950s. She's also 43, but completely grey-haired and wears it in a bun. She looks like her 5yr old's grandmother already. No fucking way she'll pass that baby off as her own.

I have no clue how my neice feels about it. It's most likely my sister laid it out to be the BEST!!!! and ONLY!!!! solution to her problem. She's really BSC that way. This daughter is 9mos younger than the day she found out I was PG with Manda, and her youngest is 3yrs younger than Chloe because that's how long it took her to convince her husband to reverse his vasectomy and have another. She needs babies to feel validated, I guess? I'm happy I checked out of the uterus competition.

They're moving from TX to VA, which is much closer to me. I'm terrified of all her drama being so close now. I feel like a moderator when she visits home every couple of years. Now she'll visit anytime she likes. I'm SO glad I'm an hour away from my mom, for that reason only.

Agreed, both of you. Apparently, he's a millionaire rancher's son, and they're afraid they'll try to take the baby. I call BS, because my sister is a bit of a liar, but who knows. It's all WAY too much drama, and hits a little too close to home for me.

I have no clue what's going on, really. I haven't talked to my neice, so I don't know if she's on board with all of this or not. It's a clusterfuck of drama and stupidity, I know that. I'm a firm believer that you put it all on the table, face your irresponsibility and HANDLE YOURSHIT in life. Obviously members of my family do not feel the same.

I just found out my friend was invited as a 2nd tier guest. She is invited to the reception only after dinner. She thinks its cool because "weve only known eachother 2 years), but god. Thats so tacky.

He was completely messed up about it for a long time. I think that is not a great idea
