I got a dress today :-)

I would post a better pic of it, but it's not on the Anthro website. Hmmph.

I tried on the dress from the thread the other night - the first one - again, and I didn't like it as much as this one. BUT, now I have no idea how to accessorize it. Gah.

THAT DRESS!  When CardMonsta and I went to lunch, I stopped and looked at it.

I'd say, large, earthy bangles and gold.  Maybe a thin gold chain and some large wooden bangles?  Or punch it up with pops of orange and blue?

Hrmmm. I think I could do the gold. I don't think I'll do the necklace, though, probably just earrings and bracelets. I'm kind of at a loss for shoes, though. I was thinking espadrilles, but IDK.

I think it depends on it you're trying to dress it up.  The pattern seems casual to me, so I would do some kind of shoe with a cork bottom.  Otherwise, gold shoes could make it a little dressier.  Maybe a blue or yellow espadrille for every day wear?

I've been good! My bff served my stbxH with annulment papers today (by mail). So if I can, I'll be filing them on Thursday. I'm very excited about this! haha
I've been around,but I've been lurking a lot. By the time I get home fromwork at night, the night thread is usually long and I feel weird sometimes barging in. haha

Wow! Pretty dress! I think it'd be cute on a cooler day with an ivory cardigan and a thin gold belt and some sandals. Also, dangly earrings are a must with a dress like that!!
