Human Centipede

So last night, after hearing about this movie on Tosh.O and having a slightly disturbing interest, FI and I redboxed The Human Centipede.  Now I am all about B horror movie marathons in October but this was just on a whole other level of bad.  Just wow, no words.  The summary of the movie that Daniel Tosh does is actually pretty accurate, no need to see the movie. lol.  ANYWAY.... this leads me to ask what other bad horror movies has anyone seen lately?  Anything worthy of renting?

  • I will never ever forget watching Cat People when I was in middle school. I don't watch horror movies, as a rule, but I was trying to be cool with my cousins. We were drinking Purple Haze. It was all around a bad night for me.

I liked HUman Centipede. But then again, I like horror movies and thrillers. I actually thought it was kind of funny.

I don't really know about any newer stuff, it's mostly crappy remakes.

I recommend The Descent, 28 days Later, The Devil's Rejects, and High Tension.

ETA: These are good movies, not bad...at least not to me.
  • Oh and if you like scary, fvcked up movies, watch "Deadgirl".
  • Yes I don't care to see people attached asstomouth.

  • I thought High Tension sucked too at the end. The rest of the movies was good.

The New Friday the 13th sucked.

Lat House on the Left the original and the remake were good.

  • Oh yes The Deadgirl was good. I love Brittany Murphey

It's amazing. Because AMC doesn't make bad shows. I've been waiting for this show for the last 3 or 4 months.
  • My coworker and I have been obsessing over The Walking Dead for months now.  It's based on the graphic novel of the same name, which is also awesome, but really, really dark.  I'm interested to see if they soften it for TV at all.

As far as horror movies go, I thought The Last Exorcism was a pretty well done little movie.

IFC also has a zombie series starting tonight, I believe. It's called Dead Set.

Human Centipede - WIN. We can't wait for the sequel.

  • $3 bill. He doesn't confirm it, but my Gaydar SCREAMS whenever I see him, and it's never been wrong. He'll probably out himself in 5-10 years, as if we didn't already know (hello Lance Bass) or he'll keep mum on it forever (hello Kevin Spacey).

  • The Tourist Trap is a 1970s horror movie that freaks me th eeff out every time I watch it. It is cheesy as hell though.

Ahh me too! I remember when I was 4 or 5 hiding behind the couch while my sister was watching the very first Nightmare on Elm Street. I was supposed to be asleep, but I found a perfect viewing spot from back there.  Oh the golden days of VHS.

Growing up I loved all those campy horror flicks - Leprachaun, Sleep Away Camp, April Fool's Day, Chopping Mall, Mother's Day , etc.  I don't think I ever got ahold of I Spit on Your Grave, I would be interested in seeing that.

  • I wish I had never read a summary of Human Centipede. Now there's something I wish I could just un-know.
