Snarky Brides

By the sheer force of my will

it is going to be a GOOD day.   My efforts were just boosted by New Kids on the Block on Sirius.

It's the little things that make me happy.

I know it's been a crappy day for some of you so far, what are some of the little things that would make/do make you happy?
Which did you like better? "Jedi" or "The Empire Strikes Back"? "Empire". Blasphemy. "Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All "Jedi" had was a bunch of Muppets.

mmmm pb&j. It's nice that something so simple can brighten your day.

I like mine with the Peanut Butter and Company flavors. There are like 5 different flavors and they're all FANTASTIC.

I like getting e-mails from my FI during the day. We're 1300 miles apart right now, so I love getting little things that remind me he's thinking about me.

That's sweet. It sucks having to be apart, but YAY for knowing that he's thinking of you and missing you like you're missing him.

  • My FI found the wooden numbers I've been searching all over NC for last night. That made me extremely happy. He was really surprised I was so excited about it when he brought them home, but I've literally looked for months for them, and I know it's such a little thing, but I was happy he thought of me when passing the store and went in and looked, and that he remembered the numbers I needed.

PB&J would make me happy too right now.

Aw :) When Scott and I were LDR I would love getting his "Good morning beautiful" texts or other things throughout the day.

I'm happy that we finally got rain, although it means we can't grill outside like we wanted to do.
  • I listen to the 90's on 9 on my Sirius on my way in to work or after a bad  b/c there is no way that I can be bummed when listening to NKOTB, Vanilla Ice, Coolio or Paula Abdul.

KitKat bars make me happy right now.

Have you ever had a PB&J shake? Those are sooo good!

A spoon of peanut butter, a spoon of jelly, a scoop of icecream, a scoop of ice, blend well, and drink! Nom nom nom.

You can do this with bananas, peanut butter, and a few chocolate chips (with icecream of course) :D

I LOVED that when I had cats. I love that they're independant and standoffish, but that was my favorite thing as a pet owner.

I can't wait until we buy a house and can have pets again!

I wish my cat liked me enough to cuddle with me. she only likes my FI. If I pet her she bites me... and I feed her, change her litter box, and rescued her from the animal shelter! She doesn't make me happy. haha.

LOL, it's ok, NKOTB was a big part of middle school/junior high for me and things were so simple then, I can't help but smile.

New dresses and ESPECIALLY shoes make me happy. Every. Single. Time.  I hope that you find something fabulous that makes you feel as beautiful as you are!

  • NKOTB were a part of mine too. While all my friends were listening to them, I was listening to Metallica. I have always been a metal/alternative rock girl.

Ughh I hope I find something too. The problem is, I am short and thin so it's hard to find dresses that don't swallow me. My feet are a size 4 1/2 so shoes are near impossible to find. AND it's going to rain in a min.!

My old cat was 14 when I had to put him to sleep and he was a cuddle bunny. If I went to bed I'd say , come on Pooky, and he'd come cuddle.

This one is a brat, but I love him. My DH makes fun of me cause when I go to find him and he gets up and runs away, I'll pout. He's only 4 though so he may get better as he gets older.

  • I listen to Christmas music and Disney songs. They make me a little happier with every song. I'm actually listening to one right now.

Cuddling with the cat or just watching him in general makes me smile, he's so damn cute. I have lots of goofy pics around my desk for the workday.

Well BOOOOO on the rain, but I'm sure that you will find something, I'm sending good retail vibes your way.

I had my NKOTB phase, but I've always been a rock girl. My first show was the GNR show here in STL when the riot broke out. I've been in love ever since. So the whole NKOTB thing is a little detour I took for a year. I came to my senses, but they still make me smile and remember being a silly little girl.

Ang, have you tried Ann Taylor Loft? They have petite sizes and lots of cute dresses.

Chocolate would definitely make me happy right now. I forgot the avocado for my sandwich and I don't even want to eat it anymore.
