I've been waiting on direct tv to get here since 12 and they finally did. My appointment was from 12-4. Ugh. 

What is everyone up to? I've been watching the Penn State stuff closely today since a ton of my high school went there.

Hike, I would be really grouchy if the cable guys were that late. You just reminded me I need to figure out how to get our cable moved to the new place.

No! He just got here. He's on the roof right now.

I'm good, Erin. :-) My H was able to come home for a couple days and brought the boat crud home with him and he passed it to me. I'm finally getting over it. I had no voice for a few days.

I'm here. In between calls at work.  Today just draaaagged by. I'm hoping the rest of this week goes by more quickly.  It's really starting to hit me that I have zero clue what I"ll be doing this fall now
(For those that didn't read it earlier, J emailed me today that they more or less have no need of me next year because numbers are too low). Blegh.  So now we're praying REALLY hard that these jobs for H and I that we are in the running for go through. They'd be perfect for us!

Aw, Edie. I'm sorry. Losing pets makes me so sad.

Erin- This was the first and only time they will be able to come home while being gone. It had something to do with the weapons or something. Haha. I don't ask a lot of questions because it's secret anyway.

<div>I get that. :) I hardly know anything about what actually goes on with H at work because it's all inmate stuff that is  law enforcement only type stuff. Who knows. As long as he comes home eventually, I'm happy. Sometimes I'm glad I <em>don't </em>know what exactly he's doing or who he's dealing with.</div>

My job I should either be rejected, offered, or have a second interview by the end of this week.
His job, we are meeting with the guy on Wednesday. He is the dad of a friend of ours so we know him well. He's the manager of an engineering firm and has scouted out H.  His email said something about H taking the time to "think about it" next week while we're gone.. which almost insinuates he's offering him the job on the spot (which would be ah-mazing).

Haha. Exactly. I'm a pretty crappy Navy wife. I don't know any of the acronyms or how to explain his job. When people ask I just say he fixes things on a sub. I don't even know what he fixes.

Edie - I'm so sorry.  It sounds like you all made the right decision for her, but it doesn't make it any less hard.  Sharing good memories is very healing.  Hugs. 

This is my first night without rehearsal in about a month.  I'm enjoying doing nothing, other than keeping an eye on my bolognese sauce.

I wonder where everyone is? My knot is still acting kinda funky. 

I did PM Knot Lili and ask her when we could sort posts. She said that they are "hoping to reinstate." 

So looks like sorting might never be fixed!

I honestly don't think they give a shiiit about fixing the message boards.  I wish that we could switch to a ProBoard, though I understand why some people wouldn't want to.  I just get tired of this working unreliably.

I'm about to move up to my office and start reorganizing and cleaning it out some.  I drove past XH this evening while I was out and it sort of put me in a funk, so I'm trying to keep myself busy.

What platform are you using?  (if that's the right term?) I'm fine on Firefox but I've heard people complaining about Google Chrome.  And the mobile site is wonky lately too.

I only live about 15 minutes from him.  We frequent the same stores (up by McKnight Road), so it's kind of inevitable.  I'm bitter that he didn't give me the full story before I bought my house, because if he had, I would've made certain to move farther away from him.

I just don't get how the glitches can go on for SO LONG and they don't do anything about it. Whenever I think of TK IT I think of a bunch of nerds with short sleeve dress shirts, ties and shirt protectors for their pens.  I picture them sitting around, playing WoW or Halo or something, just laughing at how frustrated we are.
