How is everyone today? I'm with my parents, on our way to IL to visit my grandparents. I wish H could come but he couldn't get off work, and plus someone needs to take care of the dogs so he stayed home. I am excited though, I haven't seen my grandparents since our wedding in Aug 2010.

Today is my Friday and then I have a 5-day weekend! I am definitely looking forward to doing nothing but drinking, eating and being outside.

Morning. Have fun with your grandparents!

I went to bed relatively early last night but I'm still sleepy. I still have hours to make up at work too .

I'm annoyed with my publisher right now. They will be getting a grumpy call at lunch if I haven't heard from them. Seriously, how effing hard is it to respond to an email or VM? I need to get this shiiit done, and done now, and all it would take is them responding to my fuucking question.

edie, I have a major crush on mayhem, he's so cute. 

Work is pretty much gonna blow for me today. We have a huge ass meeting that will no doubt result in a million people asking me to produce reports for them. I also stuffed my fat ass into a non-maternity shirt today, because I'm too lazy to do laundry, and I look like a sausage link. On a fun note though, Rambo can hear us now, so I started reading To Kill a Mockingbird to him/her last night. It's one of my favorite books, so I figure it's a good place to start.

The flip flops look like slippers. I could see wearing them around the house when it's cold out, but not to your wedding.

Haha I love the "I do" flip flops.  But lets be real, if it's warm enough for flip flops, I don't think you need flip flops covered in sheepskin... that just seems ridiculous.

Today should be a fairly easy day.  I'm hoping I get a chance to see my RB and his mom who will be in the area today  He's so cute.  I also just remembered I forgot to take something out for dinner.  Darn.

I'm not doing anything this weekend, except going to Philly Saturday to meet up with a couple friends.  I think there was talk of a cookout, but otherwise, I'm sleeping in and getting drunk.

I'm kind of a hypocrite because I totally wore flip flops at our wedding. But to be fair, I was having some foot issues that prevented me from wearing most styles of shoes.

Nope, that's a different guy. I'm pleased with him so far, especially since it doesn't cost me anything and everything is actually being moved up in production.

This is my current one. It's the first time I've had an issue so I'm not sure what the deal is. I keep getting responses from everyone but the one person I need despite my very clear emails. I'm about to take it to Twitter to see if they will contact this woman and get her to freaking call me already.

Thanks for posting the pics! I think the fluffy flip flops kin of defeat the point of wearing flip flops, no? I think my feet would just be a big sweaty mess.

I wore flip flops to the reception, but they were fancy silver ones. We were outside anyway, and by the end of it, I was barefoot. BUt, that's pretty expected of me I hate shoes.

I can't wait for my uncle's wedding next month. He's getting married on the beach, then the reception is at my grandparents' house. I can be barefoot the entire time.

me too! Since we found out about Rambo, I've been buying some of the old classics from B&N so the baby will have a set that is just theirs. Not their moms old wrinkled ratty books. In Rambo's copies, I'm going to write down the dates that "we" read them prior to his/her grand entrance into the world, then we can put the dates when Rambo is actually able to read the books on his/her own.

I almost wish we had gotten married on the beach so I could have been barefoot. Actually I was barefoot for some of our pictures after my first heels broke/before we got the new ones from my parents house. I love being barefoot and I hate socks/most shoes with a passion.

Good morning ladies. Good news: we finally found a house in VA! It's about 9 miles from base, which is awesome, we'll save so much money on gas since we'll be cutting down our commute by, like, 35 minutes each way. It's 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, newly remodeled kitchen w/granite countertops, and a fully fenced backyard. We're renting from fellow coasties, too, which is such a relief. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, I'm so excited about this.

That's a really cool idea, dmills. My mom was always big on reading. Clearly, it had an effect on me. My brother, not so much.

I think Uggs are comfy.  What I don't like is when people wear them with shorts and skirts and other outfits not fitting for Uggs.

I have to drive my FI to some outpatient thing at a hospital today so he can have the inside of his stomach looked at.  His mother decided she would drive an hour to come as well, and decided to post about it on Facebook.  Not only did she do that, but she talked about how she was sick and it was so hard for her but she had to go, and how she had to go alone.  I'm going because he can't drive afterwards since he'll have been under anesthesia.  Not exactly sure why she's going since she isn't driving him or really doing anything.  This is going to be an interesting experience in the waiting room.
