• I wanted to go to the NKOTBBSB tour. I just didn't think I would want to be away from Edmund that long.

  • I'd love to see the Foo Fighters, I'll have to check ticketmaster.

My baby sister just turned 18 and I got her Usher/Akon tickets for her birthday so we're going to that on Thursday night so that'll be fun. The only thing is the venue is ENORMOUS and all the other concerts I've seen there it's so overwhelming, I kinda hate being around people lol
Nates: I wanted to soooo bad but I seriously cannot justify that much money for her. I love her but I can't do it. Plus, I don't like the people she's touring with. I also tried to convince FI to go see NKOTBSB this summer. That was a fail. But he's not fighting me for Blink 182 so yay!
    Posted by avsfan33
That is for sure a yay! I wish H would go to concerts with me, but it will never happen. One of my BM's and I saw Blink at their last tour and it was a blast. I only have one concert planned for this year, but it should be fun.

I used to think I was going to marry AJ from BSB. Embarassed My room was plastered with pictures of him.

My aunt's first kiss was with Donnie from NKOTB.

    That's all I've got.

My beautiful sister is a big fan of any black male singer and also rappers. For her 16th birthday i took her to see Lil Wayne and we got patted down on the way in which I was pissed about. I saw Blink-182 in high school. They were on tour with Green Day. I thought Green Day was better, but that was partially because they played their entire set even though it was storming really badly (at an open air venue), while Blink stopped halfway through their set. They were pretty awesome, despite that. That was the tour where they lifted Travis up halfway through and flipped him upside down.

I drag him but I try to make sure he likes the band first. He doesn't really care for concerts too much. His favourite band is ACDC and my dad called me one day saying he "accidently" bought 2 extra tickets and asked if I wanted to go and so he could meet FI (we were just dating at the time). We saw them the same year as Blink did their reunion tour. It was a 12 hour drive for ACDC.

When I found out blink came back from their hiatus, I was a 12 year old fan girl and called everyone I knew. We had pit tickets for the show and it was pretty sweet. I bought the tickets before even knowing how I was going to get there or if I could get the time off work.
We got married in Santa Barbara, it is gorgeous there. He is from there and his mom still lives there. Thats why we were able to afford it.
    Posted by crose29
So, I have a hilariously awesome story about Santa Barbara.

When I was 18, a good friend of mine and I went to Cali to spend two weeks with my grandparents, aunt and uncle and other family. We went to the beach a lot and to Disneyland and all that shiit. Anyway, my uncle is a big surfer. Like, HUGE. He loves it. He wanted to take us to the beaches in Santa Barbara because his tide reports said there were going to be killer waves.

We drove like two hours to get to Santa Barbara, and then walked like I swear three fucking miles to get to this beach, which included a hike down this massive cliff. When we got to the bottom there was NO ONE on the beach. Yay, beach to ourselves! And that's when we noticed, by looking into the waves, there was so much sea kelp in the water that swimming in it was just asking to get tangled up and drowning in it.

So we hung out on the beach while my uncle tried navigating the waves. I walked around the beach for a while and when I got back to my towel, the bottoms of my feet were completely covered in black tar and the fuckingshit would NOT come off. My aunt and friend were dying, they were laughing so hard. I opened my purse to find that I'd left some chocolate kisses inside and they'd melted all over everything.

After having a miserable time at the beach we decided to leave and just as we reached the top of the cliff, a huge group of probably 30 hot college guys with a fucking keg came running by, no shirts, totally hot down to the beach. Yeah. The action shows up RIGHT as we leave.

Before we got into the car to go home we bought some oil to wash our feet off with, since the tar wouldn't come off with just water. My aunt made an entirely innappropriate remark about my feet looking like a hot mess of whale jizz and we proceeded to pretty much laugh so hard that we probably could have died.

And... wow, I typed way too much again.

  • There's this reggaeton station by us, La Kalle and they have this big ensemble concert called the Block Party. One year my friend and I went and during the show this fourteen year old girl got pulled on the stage and was wildly booty dancing with the singers. I was 99% sure she got pregnant on stage, that's how bad it was.

Fast forward a couple weeks when I meet my new students. One girl said she'd been to the concert and I had been, too. She then said that the girl on stage was her cousin. O.o

They did the Travis upside down thing at our show too. I was eating supper and I could see them rehearsing it. I went from being a sane 20 year to a super excited 7 year old kid.

They're apparently touring with My Chemical Romance this time around but they won't be at the show I want to go to. Which is good because they annoy me. I used to REALLY like Green Day until American Idiot came out.
