Snarky Brides

Re: *npasquale*

  • Our friend!

I still like the original song you found the best, though.  Now we'll be singing  this all night Smile
  • This is actually the longer version... that you can buy on iTunes.

  • I love that they have the lyrics running at the bottom.  Score!

BTW, I saw your Cali pics and 1.  They are making me so excited for my trip next week, so thanks, and 2.  We have very similar rings!
  • Haha well you definitely will have fun in Cali, it's a fantastic place :) You'll have to let me know how that tour of Alcatraz goes...

And woot for similar rings :)

  • If I see a ghost, I will die.  But other than that, it should be fun!

FI's going to love this video :)
  • Hehe... I knew it!

  • AATB- Where are the Cali pics? I think I missed them. What part did you visit?
  • I just have a couple in my bio.  But my grandparents and aunt and uncle live in Huntington Beach, while my other aunt and uncle live in Palm Springs.  I spent most of the time with my fiance on the beach in HB and we spent one HOT night in PS.

Huntington is nice. My aunt has a big beach party there so the whole family goes all day. I don't live near the beach but I work close enough. PS in August. It's great at night when cools down a little bit.
  • HB is my favorite place in the world.

And PS isn't so bad - but I'm from North Dakota so I'm not really accustomed to 110 degree heat!  But we enjoyed it.

See and I am not accustomed to anything below 50. I spent 10 days in Utah during Christmas and it took a lot to get used too. I hated it at first but I think that had to do with missing FI and I first Christmas.
  • I'm at a complete loss in terms of packing for San Fran.  Here, we've had a disgustingly humid summer punctuated by freak storms. Most of my warmer clothes are packed away.  Out there it's so much cooler, so I'm trying to figure out what to bring without overpacking or hauling out my snuggly clothes.

San Fran is always about 10 degrees lower then where I am. Right now it's 75 and I am fine in jeans and a short sleeves. I would say pack sweaters and if you plan to dress up one night for dinner I would say a larger coat. I wouldn't bring your winter wear but maybe something you might where during fall or spring. You could also pack what you want and just go on a shopping spree while out there.

Yeah, my dad lives out there so he gives me weather updates, but I'm one of those people who's always cold :P.

I'm planning on taking a coat/fleece, too, for when we go to Alcatraz because I know it will be nasty cold on the water.
  • Psht, you too cream puffs don't even know from cold :) Try starting your cold when it's -35 degrees out.

I've experienced temps in the negative 70s.  THAT is bitchin cold!  :)
