Once again... waking up with the hubby. I am liking being up so early though. If I were going in to school I could already be headed for the train! However... I am studying from home... I already have pulled chicken in the slow cooker... and I am relaxing with a coffee...

Hi!  DH and I babysat Saturday night and while we were babysitting I got the flu!  It was nasty and embarrassing!  So all day yesterday was trying to get rid of a fever so I could make it into work this morning.  I'm such a trooper,  We'll see how long I last...

I"m up and at work. My weekend was okay. We saw Tosh on Friday and he was awesome. I particularly liked his joke about having sex with the hypothetical baby produced by Brad Pitt and David Beckham having sex, and when we ripped a girl in the crowd a new one for screaming like a banshee (sorry dmiller, no pics, they were being buttheads about cameras at the theater). And some drunk bitch behind me went off on a tangent during the second opening act and her boyfriend literally dragged her out of the theater. That was pretty entertaining as well.

Other than that, I don't really remember what I did on the weekend. Last night we went to a friend's for dinner and holy hell, those kids drove me nuts. Free birth control right there.

I am awake but not at work yet (gasp!). Usually I would be but DH and I slept in this morning. Gotta get to work now though and figure out what I am going to do with the kidlets!

Morning.  I'm at work   Already people are clamoring for me to do everything for them.  It's way too early on a Monday morning for this shiit.

The weekend was good, though.  We went apple picking on Saturday, and got about 20 pounds.  We brought half to my parents and we have about 1/2 of ours left.  I'm making absolutely everything apple right now.  Saturday night we did an apple cranberry pork loin in the crock pot.  It was delicious.  Sunday I made apple chipotle chicken wings.  They weren't as spicy as I had hoped, but they weren't too bad.

I am working at home today, but I still got up early. I was hoping to do some yardwork today over lunch, but it's supposed to rain all day.

Also, I'm so tired of political campaign commercials. Almost to the point where I don't want to watch TV.

'morning ladies. Bootcamp started again today after an off week, and it was pretty brutal. With only 3 weeks left until my final fitting and my b-pic, I can't skip, and I need to double up some days. Should be a fun 3 weeks!

I have to go get some car maintenance done today, but i'm dreading it because it takes so darn long, and they always go for the upsell, which is really friggin aggravating.

Star, I'm super jealous of your productiveness this morning lol.

Good morning everyone!  I made an honest effort this weekend to finish our programs that I was working on last Thursday, but I ran out of lace so I didn't...  I feel like there is so much to do before the wedding...  I went though and organized our guest room which is a disaster because it's full of wedding crap, so that made me feel slightly productive. 

Today we are going to make final payments to our caterer/venue and alcohol supplier.  Everything is getting so real! ha ha

Gorgeous dress, Shay.  You're getting so close.
We spent Saturday cutting, splitting, and stacking about a cord of firewood.  Long day, but we got a lot of work done and should get through the winter with what we have stacked now, if the temperatures aren't brutal.
Went to visit DH's kids at college yesterday, and had a good time.  Long drive for a relatively short visit, though.

Happy Freakin Monday everyone. I'm actually almost done with housework for the day, and I need to do some flyer layouts for Chloe's school. Yes, that's my life now. From award-winning graphic designer to layout artist for an elementary school. But I'm not bitter.

I do actually have a phone interview with a really cool company in town today at 4pm. Any vibes sent up would be greatly appreciated! I really want this job!

I'm back at work, ew.  But I'm going to pick up my dress tonight, so I'm leaving an hour or so early.  I actually ended up not having to do any alterations at all, just the bustle.  Now I just have to find somewhere to store it for another week until I can take it in to be pressed. *sigh*

Half of our office is out to the Big 10 conference (including most management), so I'm definitely in jeans for the day.  Amazing how much more comfortable that is.

Yesterday DH left for a business trip to Minnesota, but his little sisiter lives there so he stays withi her and her family. So I spent the day cleaning the whole house, including the closet. But I feel so much better when the house is clean.
Here he is making friends with their dog Willow.

I cant take off work right now, busy season. I have some vacation time left, but I'm going to roll it over so we can take a lot of long weekends next year, until our real vacation in November to Napa.

Plus when he's there on business its a PITA. Or I would have. I will make it there soon.

  I am not going to my class this morning. I spent two 12 hour days this weekend getting ready for the play. (p.s. I won't be around much this week.) 
  I have laundry and homework and a psych essay to work on this morning. But first I'm taking 15 minutes to regain my sanity.

I have a little ritual, as I clean when I am done with a room I light scented candles, and the pots for melting scented cubes. By the time I got done the whole house smelled like fall. And I had the doors open and someone was burning wood. It was a nice day.
