The Zodiac Killer was really interesting to read about.  The Alphabet Killer scared the bejesus out of me, but that's because he was killing in my area.

Betrothed- If you are in to serial killers, have you ever heard of Bar Jonah? He is a famous cannibal that killed mostly back east and then was sent to Montana, where he killed a young boy. I could tell you more of the story, but it is too disturbing for a message board.

I think he was mentioned in one of the Serial Killer Encyclopedias that I read, but I'm going to look him up.

My dad loves the true crime books, also. If I remember correctly, I think they said the book had a part about the rape or molestation of small children. That's the kind of stuff I can't handle. The rest of it doesn't bother me as much.

They did.  It may have been Gyllenhall, but I don't really remember.  I got most of my information from various books written about him.  I do remember being really pissed at the end of that movie, though, because IIRC they caught him in the end of the movie but in reality they have no idea who he was.

I can't remember much of the movie, but I wouldn't be surprised if they caught him in the end of it. I'm often disappointed when they make books or real life stories into movies.

That kind of stuff bothers me too. I can't handle it. From what I remember in this book, though, there wasn't much of it. I think they referenced one thing and it wasn't violent.

hmmm well I had many majors in college, but Biology stuck for the longest, but I ended up dropping out in my 3rd year. I was a bum for a while and now I do hair, amongst other things.

A extremely close tie between October Sky and Red Cliff, although Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are very close behind.

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, and even though it's a childrens' book, My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George.

I'm not going to lie, the free advice is a huge plus. And the hilarity on this board is priceless. I also feel there's a lot more reality going around on this board than on other wedding-related websites.

The damn video at the top, but thank you to Lauren for the link to fix it.
And the drama queens who really don't think things through before they wig out over some minor issue. Take a deep breath and get some oxygen to your sadly deprived brain, Panic Queens, and remember, the world is not going to end right at this moment...mainly because Marty McFly has been to 2015. I'm a scientist, you can trust me on that.

I don't look much like an celebrity in particular, but my FI can pull off a Death Cab for Cutie Ben Gibbard look if he picked up a guitar, put on a flannel shirt, and grew out his hair a bit.
