I'm up but really dragging. Need to walk over to the Dunkin' to get some coffee. 

I'm getting my eyebrows done for the first time ever today and then I have to go to Ulta and Macy's to try to find a new coat. I foresee it will be an expensive day.

Grats on the puppy kd, can't wait to see more pictures!

Good morning.

I woke up because the boat I was on in Vietnam was about to explode while we were reading the news in the water (because it was magically scrolled through the water) and my last thoughts were that I needed to try to swim to one of the icebergs in the rice paddy but I didn't have any swim goggles from my MIL because she said I ruined Christmas by giving her a Star Wars Luke on the speeder action figure instead Han Solo something or other.

If that's a typical dream for me... thank God I'm not a drinker.  Someone psychoanalyze that shiit

It's a lovely day out! The rain has moved off and it looks perfect to start getting my plants planted.  Yay, Garden, finally!

That's what I do.  I write a quick outline down the second I wake and then usually I can come back later, look at it, and remember most of the dream.

Anna we do have Ace but i dont think they sell canning stuff? Ill check. But there is def a William Sonama at the mall.

Yes, kd.  We've been shopping for a car that gets better mileage.  We have a very old Land Cruiser and a too-large truck - both gas guzzlers.  DH found an 07 Prius, so we traded both of ours for that, plus cash.  He's now shopping for another truck, but with a longer bed and smaller cab.  I never thought I would own a Prius, but so far I love it.

Wow, you are braver than I, I'm not sure I can go back to a car. I love my truck. But, when the time comes I'll most likely get a crossover. Too much snow here for a small car.

I was leery about getting a car that isn't snow-worthy, but we'll still have one truck and can carpool when it's bad outside.  40-50 mpg was too appealing, vs the 14 mpg I get now in the big truck.

Hi.  I'm relaxing for a minute.  Going to move our limited stuff in CO into our apartment today and then go to a cook out that a friend of mine from HS who has moved here is having.  Should be a fun day.  Tomorrow I need to go to Macy's and probably Ikea to pick up some essentials for cooking (like a skillet and a pot... LOL).    I have a gift card to Macy's so I'll get as much as I can there.

KD- Good luck with the new puppy! I remember getting Finley and the first couple days were stressful for me. Hopefully it goes well for you

Morning ladies! I got a late start and just got up about 30 min ago. Pumpkin is still lazy, sleeping in bed...lol  I plan on taking her for a long walk today, doing some cleaning and maybe a workout video. Nothing exciting. Our house is in attorney review, so we are excited to get the ball rolling. MIL is being a PITA.

I just got up, which felt great though im a bit hung over. I was really ticked off yesterday and decided I didnt give a crap about anything so I had 3 pints at the pub, then beers when we got home lol. Luckily, were outta food so I didnt eat badly so I really dont think there was much harm done. Either way, Im still ticked. Its raining out though and we desperately need the rain.
