I am getting ready for school/work for the day.

I'm excited because we have bought a lot of wedding stuff the past few days. Yesterday I got a start on all the bridesmaids gifts and can't wait to continue building each girl's gift!

But seriously this is a huge communication problem. And I want to know why he felt the need to lie to you. Why couldnt he just make the call? Was he just going to wait till the day, and let these guys just show up wearing whatever.

You two really need to have a serious discussion. My DH didn't see the need for ALL the things at the wedding either, but he knew it was important to me. So he did his best to make our day special. And now when he looks back he thanks me for pressing him to do it, because it was a great day.

Something's really wrong if he's lying about stuff like calling the GM.

This is all I'm asking of him.

I know something is wrong.  I have a feeling it has something to do with the medication he's on.  I'm pretty sure his anti-depressant is the wrong one.  He's sleeping more.  He's more forgetful.  He's been impossible to get motivated and that's just not him.  But he won't TALK to me about how he's feeling.  He's so used to holding it all in and dealing with everything his own way.  I don't know how to get through to him that having that mentality is what landed him in the hospital. 

He is the most caring man I have ever met.  He would do anything for me.  That's why I'm so damn confused as to why he couldn't do this.  Lying aside, something is up with him and I need him to share that with me.

Again, I'm really sorry you are going through this.

I know the doctor cant tell you things, but it does not stop you from telling them things. Especially regarding mood changes, and his inability to be motivated, sleeping too much. He may be able to help.

If you need to talk just ping me, maybe he's overly stressed about the wedding and doesnt know how to handle it, and doesnt want to hurt your feelings? Just a thought.

I really don't know.  I have been bending over backwards to make it as easy as possible for him. 

Luckily, we have the same doctor and I have an appointment tomorrow.  I'd like for him to come with me, but if he won't, I plan on giving the doctor a heads up. 

Thank you.  I'm sure we'll get through this, but communication is something we definitely need to work on going forward. 

I just don't need this shiit 2 weeks before our wedding.

Sweded - You're an amazing woman.  I would've gone all batshitcrazy on his ass!  I would've also said, 'Fine, I'll have my bridesmaids and you can be up there all by yourself."  I would've regretted saying that later, but that's probably what would've popped out of my mouth.  Smart thing to remove yourself to your sister's.

I'm with the ever wise KD.  Talk to his doctor and share how his behavior has changed on the meds.  Hopefully that will lead to a different type of meds that doesn't have those bad side effects.

FI is very non-confrontational too.  Perhaps your FI was afraid of disappointing you.  That could be the reason for him not telling you.

BK-I retreated to my sisters after I went BSC and said pretty much that exact thing to him.  Then I became more enraged because he didn't care...which is why I stormed out.

No, I haven't. But seriously, we were just sitting there B.s.'n talking about softball during the vistation and it must be some unwritten rule that you have to scream at the other person during visitation, ebcause everyone was. it was super crazy.
